Fantastic accommodation

Beautiful apartment tastefully done up and restored in French farmhouse fashion - but all mod cons in place. Best feature is the lovely garden to sit in and the closeness to the centre of port Dinan. We go to Dinan regularly and this is the best place we have stayed.

Charming flat in a scenic location.

Accommodations were great, and host was flexible and very responsive to any inquiries. Dinan/Lanvallay were interesting in and of themselves, and were also very well situated to explore other towns and the northern coast. It was a most enjoyable stay.

Charming apartment in Dinan Port

This well maintained & very well-equipped apartment beside the River Rance was a handy base from which to explore Dinan Port, Dinan & villages along the river. Excellent restaurants were located nearby. Highly recommended!

Excellent base

A lovely property in an ideal location. Helpful owners. Do have the walk along the river to Lehon and of course up the steep cobbled street to the wonderful Dinan.

Fabulous apartment and location

We walked in. My husband said "this is wonderful!" he then said "no, this is better than wonderful!". That says it all. Beautiful apartment in a gorgeous setting right on the river. Everything was clean and as expected. Good dishes/utensils. I liked it much better than staying in downtown Dinan. Parking was a bonus. Jeremy was always very responsive and helpful. I can't say enough good things about him and his lovely apartment. Thank you so much, Jeremy for all your help and for offering this lovely apartment.

Het huis in Lanvallay was een plaatje om te zien met de historische aanblik en de verzorgde tuin. Het interieur was mooi, schoon en compleet. De ligging aan de voet van Dinan was geweldig en ook als uitvalsbasis voor tochten om dit deel van Bretagne te verkennen was het erg plezierig. De auto konden we kwijt op een goed parkeerterrein achter een slagboom. We hebben een heerlijke week doorgebracht in dit fijne huis!

Idylle mitten im Gescheh

Perfekt ausgestattete Küche, charmant eingerichtete Räume, französisches und englisches Fernsehen, typisch freundliche britische Gastgeber, die Stadt direkt gegenüber, aber durch den Fluss und Garten doch abseits des Touristentrubels. Überhaupt der Garten: Klein, aber sehr fein. Wir haben uns zu zweit hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Dennoch ein kleiner Hinweis: Die Bauweise des Hauses ist dem Alter geschuldet, das bedeutet: Im Erdgeschoss sind die Schritte der Mieter von oben überdeutlich zu hören, und wenn die um 6.00 Uhr aufstehen ist man auch wach. Wer hellhörig ist, sucht sich vielleicht besser einen Neubau. Wir hatten uns nach ein paar Tagen daran gewöhnt und wurden durch die Lage und die Umgebung entschädigt.

De ligging van het huis vlak aan de rivier is top. Prachtige tuin om te vertoeven. Restaurants op wandel afstand. Perfecte vakantie om te fietsen en dag uitstapje te maken

Romantische Unterkunft im Herzen der Stadt

Wunderbar gelegen, mit Blick zur Altstadt von Dinan über das Flüsschen Rance, geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Netter Kontakt zu den englischen Eigentümern. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Chill by the river

As good as it looks, and I particularly liked the shower, which was far better than is often the case, and the ability to heat the property adequately in the evenings when it gets colder, again something which is often not the case. Recommended.

The best holiday let

Everything was perfect - the breathtaking location, the fact we could book easy car parking down the road, the large comfortable apartment with a good bed. Just a small tiny point -we only used the double room, but the single room is an internal one with no windows, so I guess if four came in hot weather it might be a bit stuffy. Thanks to Jeremy and Julia.

Great apartment for Dinan

The apartment is wonderful and has a great view of Dinan and the port. Across the road is a great bakery and the private garden is a great setting for enjoying their wares. There are also a handful of charming restaurants nearby. It's a short walk into the main downtown area but far enough away that you aren't staying in the thick of the tourist hustle and bustle-- all we heard were bird songs during our stay and access to the apartment with a car is relatively simple. Just down the road you can walk to rent bicycles or boats. It all makes for a perfect home base for exploring Dinan and nearby sites.
