The condo was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Communication with Rob and Sara was easy. We really appreciated the bus stop so close even though we could walk to town. The valley is beautiful and I would definitely like to go back someday.

Great Location!

We stayed here for four nights as our home base and couldn’t have picked a better spot. It is conveniently located a few steps from the bus stop and right next to Trümmelbach Falls. The bed was very comfortable and curtains dark in the bedroom so we slept very well. Is a nice, clean apartment and had everything we needed to cook and do laundry. Would definitely stay here again.

Can't say enough about this stay. Hosts were communicative and detailed in check in/out procedures. Home was very clean, well equipped and maintained. The location was literally next to the main local bus which made getting around to the other towns so easy. We loved every minute and can't wait to return.

We loved this place! It was exactly as expected and was well stocked with everything we needed. Furniture and bed were very comfy. The local bus stops right in front of the condo so getting around was soooooo easy. The town is jaw-dropping beautiful so be prepared to be awed. We will stay here again. We loved all the extra coffee pods provided too!

Sara and Rob were some of the best hosts my girlfriend and i have encountered traveling. Their property was close to everything, very clean, and they took extensive measures to make us feel like we were at home. We learned a lot of valuable information talking to them, next time we stay here we will be sure to come back

Great location and amenities

The place is in a great location, has very nice amenities, Sara is extremely responsive and it was wonderful to have a washer and dryer during our trip! Fyi- if you are arriving by train, plan to take a bus from the train station (141 bus and get off on the stop called Schutzenbach). This is a much better option than walking with your luggage through the streets during the 15/20 minute walk from the train station. Thanks for a great stay, I would highly recommend this place.

Top quality apartment, great location

Self check-in made for very flexible arrival. Immaculate apartment, fully equipped, very comfortable. Easy parking, short walk to village, rail and cable car terminals. Lots of tourist information available in the apartment. Lauterbrunnen is gorgeous, lots of options every day. Rob and Sara were very responsive by email and text. Highly recommended.

Absolutely perfect.

We could not have asked for a better place to stay in Lauterbrunnen!! The location was a close walk right into town, surrounded by walking trails, beautiful views and even some cheese/milk stands (thank you Rob for the recommendation!) The apartment had everything you could possibly need and it felt so homey. Thank you to our hosts for being so helpful and accommodating, especially when we extended our stay for an additional night. Lovely Condo

This place is perfect for your visit to Lauterbrunnen! We loved staying here and would absolutely stay here again. It’s in a quiet area but conveniently located to everything! The bus stop is right outside the door. The train station is about a 12 min walk and the town is about a 7 min walk. One afternoon we got to watch as some farmers walked their cows down the street with each cow wearing a cow bell, it was like a parade! The bed is comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked, we made several meals at the house. We got to meet the hosts as we were checking in and they were super helpful and so kind. They were very responsive with any question we had. I highly recommend this place!

A gem in Lauterbrunnen

We loved our stay in this property. For the most part, it was very well equipped. There were laundry detergent pods, umbrellas, rain ponchos,a nicely equipped kitchen, so much more than what was listed. We did have a problem getting into the property. The check-in instructions said the lock box was near the grill on the back porch, and nothing was there. The lock box is actually in a row by the main door, 3rd one down, “Sara and Rob”. A resident helped us figure out we were in the wrong place looking for the key. Once inside, it is the last door on the left, listed by last name now, not first name, so a little tricky again. The only complaint is that the bed is very hard, for our taste, and we like hard mattresses usually. I would definitely recommend this property for location and cleanliness. I am in interior design, and I think they did a very nice job with everything .Thanks for sharing your property!

We absolutely loved our stay at Rob & Sarah's apartment. The apartment is in a very convenient location with bus stop right next to it, and the view from the apartment is amazing. We did the trail behind the apartment a couple of times and really enjoyed it. The apartment itself is well stocked with basic cookies supplies, full set of utensils and laundry which was super convenient. Highly recommended in Lauterbrunnen.

Apartment am Luterbach

Tolle ruhige Lage. Auf dem Campingpaltz nebenan (3 Min. über eine Holzbrücke) gibt es morgens ab 08:00 Uhr frische Brötchen und Croissants. Eine Bushaltestelle ist direkt nebenan. Das Apartment ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Man kann auch die Waschmaschine und den Trockner nutzen. Ideal nach einer matschigen Bike - oder Wandertour. Es gibt einen Skiraum, in dem man seine Ausrüstung sicher abstellen kann. Für den PKW gibt es einen überdachten Parkplatz direkt neben der Außenterrasse. Top Location für 2 Erwachsene mit bis zu 2 Kindern. Wir kommen gerne nochmal vorbei, denn eine Woche war zu kurz für die tolle Gegend. Bis bald!

Cute ground-floor apartment

We really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was tastefully decorated, spotless clean, and easy to find. The apartment comes with a covered parking space, but if you’re traveling without a car, there’s a bus stop nearby, and the walk to the train station is about 15 by foot. The apartment itself has the basics for cooking (like oil and some spices), a comfortable living room (super cozy couches), and an awesome patio (with comfortable seating and a grill). Rob and Sara are very prompt to answer questions, and they have lots is useful brochures in the apartment. I highly recommend this place and would happily book here again.

Perfekter Aufenthalt

Sehr gemütlich eingerichtete Ferienwohnung, mit allen Annehmlichkeiten, die man sich wünschen kann. Bushaltestelle direkt vor der Haustüre, perfekte Anbindung an den öffentlichen Verkehr. Die Lage in Lauterbrunnen ist sowohl im Sommer, als auch im Winter empfehlenswert. Sehr nette Kommunikation mit den Vermietern.

I am a Canadian born Swiss citizen and fourth generation to live in my family owned 500+ year old house in Bern's Old Town. I live with my husband, Rob and our two kids on the fourth floor of the building. This rental apartment is located in Lauterbrunnen (1.5 hours from Bern) so we are not far away should you need any help. We love meeting new people and sharing the beautiful Lauterbrunnen Valley. We have been operating Bern City Rentals for over 5 years.

Why they chose this property

We bought this property as a place for us to go to where it's quiet and in nature. Our family likes to ski and hike and this is the best place to do both of those activities! We decided to also share our apartment with a select number of guests each year to help us with the expense of owning and maintaining to apartment.

What makes this property unique

We love that this apartment is cozy and has access to a large, ground floor patio. The kids can play in the grassy area outside the kitchen and we can sit and enjoy the view of the valley. The inside of the apartment has all the conveniences you need for a holiday and is warm in the winter, with in-floor heating, and cool in the summer being on the ground floor. We also love the village, just 3 bus stops away or 10 minutes by foot, it has a large grocery and many restaurants serving great local and international cuisine.
