Ocean Walk- 335 Ocean Drive is the building once known The Somerset Hotel. Welcome to our legally licensed 410 sq. ft. cozy fully furnished and equipped condo apartment. The condo is located in the prestigious South of Fifth (SoFi) neighbourhood. Our building is literally a skip and hop to the Ocean where you could enjoy 2 complimentary beach lounge chairs and 1 umbrella . The property is 2 blocks from restaurants along the Ocean Drive Strip where the Famous Scarface movie was filmed. The property features a private resident pool which faces the ocean for your enjoyment and relaxation. All you need is sunscreen and the beach towel we provide

-- Cable /Wifi (network and password posted on a frame in the unit) -- Early morning and afternoon YOGA available on the beach by the guard stand behind the building Classes are by donation. Although some owners live in their apartments full time, the building caters to short term vacation renters and there is potential for more than noise than usual during spring break March-April. Please let us know of any noise issues that may arise during your stay.
PARKING: Due to our prime location, a car is not recommended. If a vehicle is a must, we recommend downloading the apps, SpotHero, ParkMe or Miami Beach Parking which will show you available parking and rates for lots and garages, including real-time occupancy info for certain facilities. There are metered parking spaces across the street. In addition you will find a parking lot between 4th- 5th st (pricing varies depending on season) Read fine print and don't be shy to negotiate. Finally there is a 24/7 public parking located at 270 7th st with max daily rate of $20. Note that garages do not allow in and out.
You may also consider the free citywide Trolley ( A/C and Wifi) that operates 15 hours a day from 8 Am to 11 pm 7 days a week at approx. 20 min average service frequency along each route. Download the app for real-time hours and map as schedules may change
SMOKING There is absolutely no smoking in the apt or in the building. A $250.00 fine will be applied for non compliance. In addition, please note that effective January 1, 2023, citing health and environmental benefits, the City of Miami Beach Commission voted to ban cigarette smoking and other tobacco products on the city's public beaches and public parks. The ordinance carries a $100 fine or up to 60 days in jail for the first violation within a 12 mont period.
Marjory Stoneman Douglas Ocean Beach Park and Lummus Park is a short walk away. In the other direction continue to busy Española Way for more outdoor restaurants. More food and great shopping is world famous Lincoln Road. (Apple Store, Zara, Gap, H&M, and many more interesting boutiques)
In the mood to party? Put on your best clothes and party at one of South Beach's best nightclubs. LIV (4441 Collins Ave.), one of Miami's iconic clubs. Basement Miami (2901 Collins AVe.), Nightclub with DJ's, ice-skating rink and bowling alley

Right on the beach and just 2 blocks from amazing restaurants. Beach was a bit off the main path so not too many people and friendly beach staff. Bed was very comfortable and the unit was clean. Owner was quick to assist us with any questions. we hadwe had.
We stayed at the property for five nights and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The property is exactly as pictured and described. And our host, Maria was wonderful and responsive. Terrific location for the pool, beach, and all things South Beach.

Property was just as described! So clean and communication with the host was perfect. Mari was so attentive to any questions we had. I loved the location - just a short walk to all the action but also out of the way of the hustle and bustle. Loved having the 2 included full lounge chairs and umbrella on the beach. We didn’t use the pool but it looked clean and inviting. I would definitely return!

We noticed the refrigerator had stopped working (it happens) and sent the property manager a note.In less than 8 hours a crew arrived to remove the old and replace it with a brand new one.Exceptional response!

The information and lack of adequate description of the location of the access key made a late arrival (because of flight delay) trying. Had it not been for another guest opening up the front door and showing us where the remote key was located, well ........ We had to help other guests in the next few days with the information of where the remote keys were located.

It's unfortunate that you had a late arrival to the rental as a result of a delayed flight. Makes a first time experience very trying indeed.
Detailed instructions including images for a smooth check in are sent prior to checkin. (See other reviewers' comments).
Sadly there was no communication with host for guidance and clarification upon arrival nor throughout the reservation
Although other guests should have contacted their own hosts, thank you for helping them.

The unit was adorable and clean. Could have used a few more towels and garbage bags. Had all beach goodies plus the chair and umbrella amenities were a huge plus for us. Location and beach area were great. Maria was very easy to get ahold of and responded quickly. Great communication and easy instructions. The two AC units worked great.
Do not take your car you won’t need it. But if so park in the garage at 7th and Collins.
Now the building on the other hand was a different story. The elevator was broke, carrying your luggage up 3 flights of stairs in 95 degree weather might be a struggle for some. The pool and pool area were disgusting did not use, but we came for the beach anyway so didn’t bother us.
The lobby and hallways smelled of mold. Once we stepped in the unit it was fine.
Loved the condo and proximity to the beach and the great art deco hotels and restaurants!!
