Sweet Oceanside 3BR/2Bath 1400 square foot house with gorgeous Ocean & Sound views. Short 3 minute walk down a quiet street to easy beach access (wide path, easy-to find, no double dunes). The first level opens with a wide furnished south sundeck with 6 person jetted hot tub. The spacious great room features a cathedral ceiling with multiple skylights, comfortable resort style furniture, and HDTV entertainment system with WiFi internet access and YouTube TV package. The large open kitchen comes equipped with a fridge, flat-top oven, over-the-range microwave, dishwasher, full-size W/D, air fryer, plenty of counter space, a breakfast bar, and a pass through to the attached dining room that seats up to 8. Bedroom 1 has a King bed, and enjoys a semi-private bath. Upstairs bedroom 2 includes 2 twin beds, and shares a newly renovated bath with Queen bedroom 3. All bedrooms have streaming capable flat-screen TVs and ceiling fans. The second level features access to a furnished ocean-view sundeck. The ground level has 2 concrete driveways for extra parking, an outdoor shower, picnic area, charcoal grill and fish cleaning station with hose.

The house was great and very well stocked with everything we needed. Great restaurants nearby and in Avon! Beach was only a 4 minute walk and not crowded at all. Hot tub was awesome for evening relaxing! The host gave us a ton of information for dining and things to do and was very communicative!

Fun in the sun

We all fully enjoyed our stay. Check-in was easy. The house was clean and provided basics, linens, set of towels for each guest. Kitchen was well equipped with everything you need. The beds were comfortable able and each bedroom had ceiling fans. The two decks were nice. Especially the top deck which provided view of ocean. It was a short walk to beach. The recommendations for places to eat and shop were very helpful. All said Seas the Day was a perfect place to stay.

Quaint, clean cottage, perfect for relaxing getaway.

The property was very clean and ready when we arrived. Great location to beach and walking distance to wonderful restaurants. Beautiful drive to Nags Head, Kitty Hawk, Buxton, Avon, Hatteras, and surrounding areas. Definitely considering renting Seas the Day for another vacation!

We stay on Hatteras Island once or twice every year. This house is the best stocked house of any we have stayed in. Every kitchen appliance, pots/pans, utensils, and tableware you could hope for. Nice outdoor furniture. Nice finishings on the interior. All TVs work and have YouTube TV already signed in. Lots of space in the living room. Large dining room. Easy access to the soundside or ocean. Walk to Dairy Queen if you want. The campground next door was surprisingly quiet, even though it was packed on Labor Day weekend. Would definitely stay in this house again.

September vacation

We had a great stay at Seas the Day. We chose to come after Labor Day when it would be quieter and it really was. The house was very comfortable with a great location. It was a short walk to the beach which we loved. We love the outer banks and will definitely return. Thanks for having us!

Hi, my name is Amanda. My husband Orlando and I both welcome you to "Seas the Day" in beautiful Waves, NC. We both grew up in and around the Washington DC area. During those summers, we spent many idyllic vacations exploring and camping on the beaches of the Outer Banks. Today, we call Richmond VA home, but our hearts have never left the Outer Banks.

Why they chose this property

About 10 years ago, we acquired a pop-up camper and decided to take our maiden voyage to the Cape Hatteras KOA. We were blown away by the spectacular natural beauty of the beaches, lack of crowds, and the amazing fresh seafood available in the area. After several summers of making this our regular camping destination, we decided we loved the easy-going vibe of Hatteras Island, and bought "Seas the Day". We know you'll enjoy it as much as we do.
