We really enjoyed our stay in Avon at the treehouse! You can see the ocean from the top deck, and its a very short walk. The house was stocked with all we needed. The get directions link takes you to the wrong address. The correct address is listed as a copy paste which was a little confusing at first, but we found it! Overall a very nice stay.

Great spot!

This was a great property in a great location. My wife and I had a nice short vacation here. The pictures need to be updated as it now has a deck so you can see over the dunes, very nice view. We will return.

Place is fine for a short stay but It is definitely in need of some updates and a deep cleaning. Pet friendly status shows as dog hair was on most of the linens. Vacuum was full of dog and human hair which I had to clean before I could use it to clean the house.The washer/dryer and 2nd toilet are not inside the house, they are outside in closets on the ground floor.Jacob lists a gym as an amenity. When asked he says you can pay to go to the gym down the road.Required to pay a 119 insurance and also leave a 750 deposit that I am still waiting to get back.Too much headache getting the refund back after leaving the place cleaner than I found it. Would not recommend staying here.

The property and proximity to the beach were amazing! The only thing that was less than perfect was the cleanliness. But the treehouse was cute, quaint, and homey!

Great View

The cottage has great potential and the owner is apparently making updates and improvements. There is a great third level deck with views of the dunes and ocean that I don't think is mentioned in the description. Overall we enjoyed the stay. The lower level half bath and additional outside shower are a plus.

Thanks for your feedback and yes we have since made many improvements including an upper deck so we now have sunrise views over the ocean and sunset views over the sound.

Jake and Brittany’s beach cottage/tree house makes for one of our favorite times in Avon to date..

The house is right on the beach - as there is an empty lot between it and the ocean. Perfectly situated off to itself - great views of full moon as we arrived. Host Jacob took a late night call when we ran into difficulty and was more than gracious. Pet friendly and immaculately clean! Great location, safe neighborhood- lovely neighbors. My husband and I agree it was our best vacation in a long time. Will definitely be back and recommend “the treehouse” to all! 5 out of 5 stars because we couldn’t use a6 rating!

Best 60th birthday ever!

This treehouse in the dunes ROCKS ! The herd of 5 deer that greeted us each morning shortly after sunrise was icing on the cake! Weather perfect, water perfect, food perfect. Only issue was it was not long enough. Jacob was a wonderful host, and checked on us prior to departure to make sure all was lovely (and it was!)== I will be looking at my next vacation there very soon!
