To lessen the contact and exposure to our quests and employees we are providing a set of extra sheets next to the towels in each closet for your convenience, if you choose to use them.

Fully equipped kitchen, open concept throughout kitchen, dining, living room, rustic dining table, kitchen island is perfect for a gathering focal point or preparing food. Property has a Spectacular view of Mt. Princeton that sets the mood for a nature’s perfect ambiance. Very peaceful! You can watch deer and wildlife all day. Desk area has a Welcome book, restaurant guide, adventure, and information brochures available. Bathroom has medicine cabinet for easy storage, blow dryer is provided, if you like yours, please bring it. Diapers and Pull-ups "Just in Case" under bathroom sink, Ironing board and iron located in hall closet.
Living room has Italian leather couch and loveseat and Futon. Wi-Fi- 60" Smart TV. DVD player with video library.
Emergency map plan located in hallway next to bedrooms. COVID19 Safety List with Guest Book, Sleeping Capacity (6) 2 adults per room comfortably, ceiling fans in all rooms, individual thermostats per room, towels are kept in each room for your convenience. Wall mount hangers for clothes and towels. Clocks and wall plugs have USB ports (please leave ports plugged into the wall). Nearby grocery store, city park, downtown shops, and restaurants. Easy access to Hot springs, hiking, rafting, fishing, kayaking, biking, jeep tours, horseback riding, browns adventure park, ghost towns, Arkansas river, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, 45 minutes away from Monarch Ski area, Cooper, Buena Vista is approx. 2 hours from Denver. This region of Colorado is famous for its Rocky Mountain row of peaks “Fourteeners” over 14,000 feet. That will make for breathtaking views day or night or challenging outdoor adventures any time of year.

Kerrie was very communicative and the house was in a perfect location to explore the town and coordinate with some other friends that had rented houses nearby for a friends birthday! Clean house, cute backyard, and very comfortable beds!

The house is exactly as described, except that the magnificent view of Mt. Princeton isn’t mentioned enough! The furniture is very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much and found the house in a great location to enjoy a variety of Colorado hikes and activities.

Anniversary vacation

We booked this stay for a anniversary get away. The location was very convenient to town and many other short day trips. The home is very clean and had a very nice back yard/ patio! House was stocked with everything we needed. The views in the area are so beautiful! The town definitely lives up to it’s name! We really enjoyed our stay and the owner was very responsive and helpful. Will definitely stay here again if we find our way back in that area!

My wife, myself and another couple spent four days at this property. We found the location to be super convenient. The view of Mt. Princeton is spectacular. The property was very clean, in great condition and equipped with everything we needed, and then some. Awesome trip to Buena Vista

The property is in a quiet neighborhood just across the road from the main business district. Everything is clean and comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. The view from the front porch is spectacular and I enjoyed a cup of coffee and the cool air every morning. It's a two bedroom, but Kerrie set up a bed in the corner of the living room (hardly noticeable) for my son....which made my teenage daughter really happy to not have to share a room with her brother. Highly recommend.

Wild Wedding Weekend

Mt. Rain was centrally located for our daughter's wedding venue at The Barn at Sunset Ranch, to town and to all our family and friends. My Husband and kids were able to go fishing while I was running around all over Buena Vista prepping for the wedding. For us the location was perfect. We had plenty of room to spread out in the house as well; especially when I had continuous projects to work on. The back yard was lovely to just sit and relax in. Very well-maintained property. We did not do a lot of cooking but, it appeared to have all the necessary types of cooking utensils available. Nice to know that you are able to cook anything you would like there. A very homey, comfortable property - Enjoy!

Perfect location in quiet town

We were in BV for two weeks and this place was perfect for us. Place was very clean and very nice. Location is great to all things in BV. Communication with owner was quick and helpful. Buena Vista now has our hearts... loved the stay. Food: Buena Viking - great burgers and tots Eddyline Brewery - great pizza and beer, two places: go to one on south main, has a larger menu. K's - great small town burger and ice cream place Casa Sanchez - best mexican food in town Deerhammer distillery - great smash burgers, didn't try whiskey as we are not drinkers Locals are great.. just start talking to people. Browns canyon rafting - we took a half day trip, guides were all very knowledgeable and great with kids. Collegiate peaks golf course - great 9 hole course, beautiful backdrop, and well kept course. Lots places to stop and soak in the river, we enjoyed camping spots that were open along the Numbers section of Arkansas River, if have time to chill and relax, highly recommended.

Perfect house, great expeience

This house was as described and extremely clean. We had a great view of the mountains from the front of the house. For those of you that are not from Colorado and are concerned that there is not AC in the house, don't be. We opened the windows at night and closed them in the morning and the house stayed very cool. We had to wear sweatshirts and use blankets during the day while in the house. They house was well equipped with everything that we needed(no washer and dryer if that is something that you need). There are many things to do in this area. Our host provided two binders filled with places of interest and restaurants in the area with their menus. Our host answered any questions we had quickly and she even reached out to make sure that everything was going as planned. We would definitely stay here again. Great house and great host.

Hidden Gem in Colorado

Mountain View in Buena Vista

House was clean with all the advertised amenities. Nice furnishings with open living room, dining area and kitchen. Property manager communicated well via text and answered questions promptly. Check-in was easy. House was roomy enough for a family of 4. Back yard offered lots of outdoor furniture and a grill. Convenient location just a block off the main highway at the edge of town. Great view of Mt. Princeton across the street out the front door.

Mtn Rain

Kerrie and her Vrbo family provided us with a great vacation experience. The house looked to have been cleaned within minutes of our arrival! The decor was very clean and warming. The rooms were perfect with ample closet space and were particularly enjoyed that everything was labeled in the house. If we return to BV in the future, we will definitely check to see if this home is available. Kerrie was prompt with text messaging and provided friendly customer service. Although we didn’t utilize it, the backyard provides a great opportunity to enjoy the Colorado weather with bbq capabilities. We would definitely recommend this property!

Perfect place under Mt. Princeton

I have stayed at many VRBOs and this property was the cleanest and most updated property I have ever stayed at. It was perfect for my family of 4, my children both being under 7. It was a great home base for visiting the hot springs, rafting, hiking, and kayaking Cottonwood Lake. We will definitely seek this property out again in the future.
