Whether you're planning a ski getaway, summer mountain escape, or family vacation, Bighorn Mountain House offers the perfect combination of comfort, convenience, and Colorado charm.
The thoughtfully updated duplex offers approximately 1,800 square feet of comfortable living space designed for gathering and relaxing. The open-concept main level features soaring ceilings, exposed timber beams, abundant natural light, and a spacious living area that flows seamlessly into the dining room and fully equipped kitchen.

Prepare meals in the modern kitchen, gather around the oversized dining table for family dinners and game nights, or unwind in the comfortable living room after a day exploring the mountains. Meet Your Hosts

Our family has had a place in Summit County since 1980, and these mountains have been part of our lives for generations. What started as a family getaway has become one of our favorite places to spend time together, and we're excited to share it with you.

Seth grew up in Minnesota and first fell in love with Colorado during a high school spring break ski trip. How could he not? Bluebird skies, incredible skiing, endless mountain adventures, and the occasional 70-degree day in the middle of winter are hard to beat.

I grew up skiing Keystone Mountain before I could walk (and eventually traded my skis for a snowboard). Keystone has always held a special place in my heart, and it became even more meaningful when Seth and I were married at the top of the mountain in 2001.

Today, we live in downtown Denver. While we love city life, being close to nature has always been important to us. We spend as much time as possible in Summit County hiking, mountain biking, paddleboarding on Lake Dillon, skiing, snowboarding, and simply enjoying everything the mountains have to offer.

Professionally, Seth works in hospitality and I am a real estate broker, so creating welcoming spaces and helping people feel at home is something we both genuinely enjoy.

We have two daughters—one recently graduated from the University of Colorado and the other is currently a student at Loyola Marymount University. No matter where life takes them, their favorite thing is still coming home and spending time together at "the mountain house."

Why We Chose Willowbrook

Willowbrook immediately felt like home to us because it offers something that's becoming harder to find in many mountain communities—a true neighborhood. With a large number of full-time residents, it feels less transient than many resort areas and more like a genuine community. We know our neighbors, look out for one another, and enjoy catching up.

Summit County has been our second home for as long as we can remember. My parents purchased property in Keystone in 1980, and our family has had a place in the area ever since. We bought the Bighorn Mountain House in 2018, and it has become our home away from home through some of life's busiest and most memorable years.

While we live in downtown Denver and love everything city life has to offer, being able to escape to the mountains is incredibly important to our family. We all ski and snowboard, so you'll often find us here during the winter months enjoying the slopes. But if we're being honest, summer and fall are our favorite times of year in Summit County. Long sunny days, cool mountain evenings, hiking and biking trails, paddleboarding on Lake Dillon, and the stunning fall colors make it a truly special place to be.

For us, Willowbrook offers the perfect balance—close to everything Summit County has to offer, yet tucked into a neighborhood that feels welcoming, peaceful, and connected. We hope you'll feel at home here, too.

One of our favorite things about the home is that it lives like a single-family residence while offering all the convenience of a duplex. The spacious great room flows seamlessly into the kitchen and dining area, making it easy for everyone to stay connected whether they're cooking, playing games, watching a movie, or simply enjoying the mountain views.

The private deck and hot tub overlooking the Gore Range are another standout feature. There's nothing better than soaking under the stars after a day of skiing, hiking, biking, or paddleboarding on Lake Dillon.

After a full renovation, the home blends modern comfort with classic mountain character, creating the perfect balance of cozy and updated.
