QUIET SECLUDED COTTAGE WITH 2 BEDROOMS, ONE UPSTAIRS WITH QUEEN-SIZED BED AND ONE DOWNSTAIRS WITH 2 TWIN BEDS. THERE IS A FULL BATH DOWNSTAIRS AND A HALF BATH UPSTAIRS. THE PROPERTY IS A 13+ ACRE PRIVATE PENINSULA WITH OVER 1/4 MILE OF WATERFRONT AND VIEWS OUT TO THE TIDAL BAY WITH WONDERFUL BIRDING. THERE ARE WALKING TRAILS THROUGH THE WOODS AND A TWO PERSON KAYAK IS TIED UP AT THE WATER'S EDGE WHICH CAN BE USED FROM MID TIDE TO MID TIDE. THE COTTAGE IS SIMPLE, COZY AND ONLY 13 YEARS OLD WITH A GAS FIREPLACE TO HEAT IT. IT IS A WONDERFUL RETREAT ONLY AN HOUR TO BAR HARBOR AND HALF AN HOUR TO SCHOODIC POINT. THERE IS SATELLITE INTERNET.

Perfectly wonderful!

We loved everything about this cottage. From the quiet and beautiful location in the woods to the furnishings in the cottage, everything was perfect. A very well equipped kitchen and the cleanliness of the whole place made us so comfortable. We appreciated the owner’s attention to detail in making certain we had everything we needed for our stay. Seeing the millions of stars from the balcony and the windows in our bedroom was amazing. Also, we saw deer, rabbits and even a porcupine in the yard! This was a wonderful three weeks vacation and we certainly hope to return next year.
