We had a great time staying here!! It was very clean and convenient getting to Metlife and NYC! There were lots of great food options nearby as well. There was enough room for 4 of us without being too cramped. The only thing I would do differently is bring another mirror, the mirror in the bathroom was a little difficult to get ready with. The host was great and very responsive!

Overall, it was a good stay for a good price. My only complaint is the elevator doesn't work. If I had known that prior to our stay, we may have chosen differently, as I have some physical limitations.

Great location, very clean. Host provided very thorough instruction for check- in, Check-out, and transportation. Excellent communication and response time. Only downside was that the elevator was broken but would still stay again regardless.

Good location, and a responsive host

My family and I stayed there for a week in September 2024. We enjoyed our stay. The host is responsive. and helpful. The apartment is small compared to what we are used to , but then that's not uncommon in NY/NJ areas.

Property is exactly as described. Communication was very prompt and excellent. easy commute to Manhattan with local 51 bus/ Area is quiet and respectable.Only complaint is that heating was way too much in apartment and even comunal area of the building. Also we kept loosing internet connection despite few different WIFI options available.

The apartment was very nice, though small. We were there late June when the temps were in the high 90s and 100s. It was cool in the apartment and we were too. The area has enough places to eat and shop. Our trip was to NYC so we were in and out of the apartment. Only complaint was that the elevator quit working and we were on the 4th floor. Our host responded quickly when contacted.

Ideal for what we needed

The flat is very small but I assume space is uncommon around new york! We were able to get into the city on the local bus. The temperature was very warm in the flat, the whole building actually, even though it was freezing outside. Overall good

The host was very responsive, the apartment was clean and pictures match the home. It's in a very nice location. Although we didn't use public transportation it was right there. Also I drove into Times Square on Saturday night and it only took me 25 minutes to get back. My only grievance is that the elevator was not working. I had to walk up and down 4 floors which my arthritis in my knee didn't agree with. Also if you are sensitive to smoke smell, there is a smoke scent that comes from the neighbors but again the home was clean.

Overall not a bad experience. Elevator was not working properly. Stove top did not light on its own.(needed a lighter). slight hiccup with parking. Landlord had nasty attitude. Otherwise the place was comfortable and had great access to shops.

Very good place to discover NYC

We had an excellent time in this apartment and are very grateful to the host who really went out of her way to make this an outstanding holiday experience for us. She was always very quick to answer our questions and extremely helpful. Wir waren als Familie mit zwei Kindern (17 und 13) in der Ferienwohnung und sehr zufrieden damit. Die Gastgeberin war immer ansprechbar und hat sehr schnell und hilfreich auf alle Anfragen reagiert. Es ist ein guter und praktischer Ort, um NY zu entdecken. Mit dem Bus ist Manhattan tagsüber schnell zu erreichen.

Great stay!

Stayed here on a holiday weekend after taking our son to college in NYC. The rates were crazy in NY and we had a van to park in an outdoor lot, so this apt. worked out wonderfully. There’s not much around but the bus is across the street & for $4 takes you to the city in 20 minutes. The apt. Was spotless and perfect for weekend! We’re glad to know about it since we will be doing the son pick up in May!

A good stay in New York

The apartment is in an older apartment complex. The apartment was clean and refurbished. All the necessary was provided for a weekend stay e.g. coffee filters, washing up liquid, towels, soap etc this was really helpful. When booking the accommodation I thought there was a room with a double bed and a room with two singles and the sofa. This is not the case it is one double and one single and the sofa. The communication with Claudia went smooth and she responded quick. In the double room it would be good if the bed was moved to the side as the door couldn't close otherwise. Also it would be handy to have the exact WiFi code of the apartment instead of a whole list, this would save time figuring it out. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay.
