El Palmar Cottages LLC

Large beach house! Third Level from the beach, just steps away. Unique in that this is a Duplex with both indoor & outdoor connections. It has two large open concept living areas, with kitchen and dining; four bedrooms, two 3 piece bathrooms and two washer-dryer combos. Looking for Florida Lifestyle? This is your place with that Caribbean feel of large outdoor covered patio, oscillating fans, TV, Gas Grill , Hammocks, Tables, seating area, fire pit and a swing for two. Beach Gear available too!

Indoor connecting duplex that transforms into a large beach house with 4 bedrooms/ 2 bathrooms plus an outdoor covered patio living area.

When renting the Whole House you have complete use of all interior & exterior amenities.

For non-urgent issues you may text me. Any emergent, urgent or if you need help sooner than later, you must call Mia.

it will be very helpful to know in addition to party size, the ages of children. It is vital for us to know If you`re traveling with a toddler or very young child or children Please let us know if you need a pac n play or a high chair.
We wish for children to be safe & have a happy stay. No crayons allowed.
Min booking age 25 yrs or older. Booking guest must be a guest staying throughout the length of say.
Min $1000 security (refundable) deposit required with each reservation. Deposit is refundable subjedt to no loss or damages, no later than 7 days after check-out.
Booking guest must sign a Rental Agreement and provide a legal picture ID. The Lease will be emailed to Booking Guest via the property`s business email. Property must receive the Rental Agreement and ID min 7 days prior to arrival or earlier depending on the date of arrival.
Key access code will be texted only to the Lessee no earlier than half hour before arrival time, subject to Lease Agreement & ID having been received.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

Perfect beach days- great place to stay

Our place was clean and beach chairs . Super easy beach access 3 minutes walking distance. We enjoyed the outdoor space downstairs. Plenty of space for us and close to restaurants to bars. Would come back to this place in a heartbeat.

Close to the beach and close to any restaurant you'd want.

Having 2 kitchens and 2 living rooms was a very nice accommodation. The property has a lovely shaded space outside behind the parking area. Plenty of beach supplies are available. One of, if not the best property we've rented in the area.

Close to beach and when renting the whole property you have plenty of room for everyone in your party comfortably. The downstairs was a great perk with the outside covered seating and the 2 grills. We will be booking next year!

Great house!

Loved our stay. Beach was so close! Wonderful sea breezes and close to everything. The house had plenty of room for our group of 7 and could have accommodated more! Plenty of beach supplies and the outdoor living space was awesome! Would definitely rent again!

Beach Visit

We were in town to visit family from out of state. The stay was great. Accommodations were as described and the house was convenient to the beach, grocery, and restaurants. I liked that we could grill outside, and roast marshmallows over the gas fire. The kitchen had everything we needed. I appreciate the communication from the host - very nice!

Close to the beach.

The property is walking distance to the beach, dog park, and many restaurants. Parking is convenient. Back yard has a cozy and fun atmosphere. Owner let us use the beach wagon to pull our grandson’s toys and a few chairs. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, there are many options to drive to for indoor entertainment.

Perfect Beach Vacation

There were 10 of us that rented both sides of the duplex. The kitchens were amazing. Everything was well-stocked and very clean. The outside space was great space for eating, grilling, playing games. We loved the fire pit! The best part was being right across the street from the beach. This hostess is easy to work with and does a stellar job up keeping the property.

Perfect Beach Spot in Indian Rocks Beach

We loved the house and the outdoor space! This house is well loved and cared for by Mia. She was such a great host and made our stay even better. We loved the double outdoor hammocks, awesome fire pit, great outdoor grill and eating area. We rented bikes from Rad Rentals snd they delivered the bikes to the house. You can ride bikes on the beach right across the street. That was such a highlight of our trip! We rented the whole house which worked really well for a socially distant vacation. Also, the living room couches are so comfy and perfect for a movie night. Thanks for a wonderful vacation and we hope to come back soon.

This beach duplex is AWESOME!!

We LOVED this beach duplex!! We had 5 adults, 3 kids and a dog and had so much room!! Location was perfect. She had all the beach supplies…carts, chairs, umbrellas and even toys for the kids!! There were games for all to play at the duplex and outside had cornhole game and horseshoe game. Tons of outside seating, hammocks and even a fire pit!! Kitchen had everything ready to use and the refrigerator even had ice/water on the door. Bedrooms had comfortable beds and bathrooms had sooo many towels!!! Highly recommend this duplex!! It was the best!!!

I'd do it again!

Adorable duplex! Those stairs though, ufffda. I rented both sides for my family of 12, all ages. Perfect location, couldn't be happier unless I was beach front LoL We never were able to get the firepit to work, the men tried everything. In all fairness though, I never called to contact the property manager about it not working though. I don't like to bother people if it's not an emergency. So, to go back I'd do it again! Thank you much! =)

Thank you LaNette. Stairs are a part of beach life when you're that close to the water. I felt very badly when you advised after check-out about your issues with the fire pit. It is a bit tricky. I don't know if you looked in the Blue Folder. It would've been your source to trouble shoot. I talk about the Blue Folder in our Check-In Instructions. Convenient place in IRB close to beach access, dog park, playground and restaurants. With the temperature being at an all time low, we made great use of the gas fire pit. Mia was very responsive to all our questions. The only down sides were construction going on next door before 8 am a couple of the mornings and the automatic door locks-a pain when you run upstairs for something while playing corn hole or sitting by the fire pit ( the code wasn’t something easy to remember)

Bob, thank you very much for your honest review. Key door combination are changed every time a guest departs for security concerns. Since you had such difficulty with the Key Lock combination, we are devicing a better system for the code number. We must still change it for every guest. As for the construction next door, I wish you had shared this issue with me at the time it happened. The owner of the property under construction is a friend and I could've addressed it with him. Wonderful place to stay for myself and my family for a 4 nights. The property was very clean and well organized and we loved the layout and the "beach" feel. Cant say enough about the hosts - just awesome to work with. Excellent communication and the place was exactly as described. You will not be disappointed. Would highly recommend and would absolutely stay here again.

Great location and great accommodations!

We loved the proximity to the beach! Just a short walk across the street. We also loved the laid back atmosphere of the neighborhood. Not busy and we were able to walk to dinner every night. The house is great and had more than enough room for our group of 12. We would definitely stay again. Mia was great and had great communication. Check in was very easy and she reached out before to make sure we would have everything we needed.

Enjoyed our stay. The beach is just across the street.

The additional lease required by the property owner almost kept us from renting. It seems unnecessary. The units have nice kitchens and living areas. Great beachy decorations. More baking dishes would have been nice as we made a holiday dinner. The rugs on the screen porches had mildew- need attention. All and all,a nice spot in Indian Rocks Beach.

Lee, I'm very pleased that you had a memorable family Holiday with your local relatives and your children from afar. It is a preferred business practice of mine, to obtain a signature on a lease agreement with a legal picture ID. When you go to a hotel, you do sign-in and provide ID. I've cleared this procedure with Vrbo and I've been doing this since Jan. 2014, when I first rented via Vrbo. As for the throw rugs on the balcony, I've alerted my cleaning lady & yard cleaning person and it is being reviewed as we speak. My appologies for my cleaning staff being remissed for the aluminum baking disposable. This was the second time we rent for a Holiday, this year. I keep stock of most everything we need for a stay in our storage unit, downstairs. She forgot to check after the Thanksgiving guests checked out. I assure you it will not happen again. Family Vacation

I would definitely recommend this property. We rented both cottages & it was perfect for our family reunion. There were 7 adults and 5 children ages 9-14. It was spacious & allowed everyone to be together without ever feeling crowded. The 2 kitchens were equipped with everything needed to entertain, cook and serve our Thanksgiving dinner. The interior was clean, comfortable, & tastefully decorated. One of the the bonuses of this property for our family was the private outside area. There were 3 tables & plenty of chairs which allowed us to sit together for our Thanksgiving dinner. Sitting around the gas fire pit in the evening was the perfect ending to the day! We all loved the easy beach access for our morning walks, afternoon beach fun & evening sunset gazing! We had everything we needed & would definitely stay here again!

An amazing location with great amenities. Perfect for a family or group.

We had a great time at Mia’s property. A few steps away from public beach access. The beach buggies provided at the property are amazing and a great for packing up coolers and easily traveling to the beach. The downstairs tables, gas fire pit and hammocks were incredible for lounging and large dinners. Skip the expensive beach resorts and stay in a cozy and comfortable place like this to get the most out of your visit.

Fantastic property and location.

The property owner/manager, Mia and her husband, are terrific host and very thoughtful. Our stay was complete with everything well thought out leaving nothing for us to need. The walk to the beach was so easy allowing us to go whenever we wanted without any planning. I highly recommend this property and its location at Indian Rocks Beach.

After working at Delta Air Lines and Hilton Hotels, we decided to go into the vacation rental business. At first it was simply to cover expenses for a dream vacation home. Now, as my husband is retired, we decided that this was an excellent way to stay active and busy while pursuing a dream.

Why they chose this property

When we purchased this property in 2012 as a vacation home, we fulfilled a dream to own a beach place for our family to enjoy. As "Native" Floridians and having had the benefit of vsiting many beautiful beaches and cities, we are a bit biased towards the West Coast of Florida's best powdery white sand in the World! That's the reason that we feel our place is a Paradise Found!

What makes this property unique

This property was built in 1981. When we saw this popety, we fell in love with the quiet and residential location; yet, very close to local restaurants and popular tourist attractions. The view from its balcony and front windows made us feel in Paradise!
