Was an excellent stay, I just wanted to get away from people and the world for a few days and this was the place to do it. A beautiful home with nothing but pine trees and nature to enjoy.
My grandchildren wanted to go somewhere in the woods. We were definitely in the woods. We had lots of fun exploring and playing while also having a comfortable cabin to stay in. It was welcoming and clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.
We loved it! Very secluded so cozy will come back and stay another time. Just the escape we needed and close to the renaissance faire. Thank you so much!
What an awesome cabin in the woods! So peaceful and relaxing. It was clean and well stocked with all the essentials. Great communication with the host. Very pet friendly. Will definitely stay again.
Love the cabin! Exceptionally clean, the decor is thoughtful and really adds to the “old country” cabin feel. The bed was so comfy, the reclining couch was relaxing… The host really thought of everything to make our stay perfect! We were definitely “city coming to the country” and we enjoyed every minute (our dogs, too!). Wind in the trees, collecting pine cones, nature walks, evenings on the back porch, the rain… This place is a hidden gem. We can’t wait to return!

The cabin is pretty, set in the woods, it’s very well decorated, there is everything for a lovely stay, it’s quiet and safe!
We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is charming but comes with most mod cons. We didn’t turn the tv on, instead we loved the rocking chairs on the back porch for relaxing, bird watching and enjoying the forest setting..

The perfect guests! It didn’t look like they were even here. They did so much clean up-above and beyond. Hope they’ll come back and just relax!! Appreciate all the effort-especially helping with the recycling effort by separating the items. 🤗
Our favorite place to relax and unwind free from the road noise, and noisy neighbors. This was our third visit and already planning for next year. This cabin is as advertised, quaint, rustic but with the best back porch in Texas. Great for morning coffee or evening drinks and with a view what else could you ask for.
Could not have been happier with this cabin. The description was exactly spot on. This was a perfect place for peace and quiet. The host was very responsive to my questions.
This was our second stay and we absolutely love it out here. So peaceful and well accommodated. The hosts are the best I've ever worked with for vacation rentals. The property is so neat to explore. We brought our e-bikes this time and it made for some great rides as well as an easy trip to Buescher next door to ride the road to Bastrop. A+ vacation!!
The cabin at Lost Pines is absolutely perfect. Very quaint while still having all the amenities you need. We had five people for the weekend and it was very comfortable. I am absolutely looking to stay here again! We stayed in the cabin while attending Sherwood, so I would love to return and spend the weekend just exploring the property. The owners were very sweet and responsive. Highly recommend!
We absolutely loved our stay at the cabin. The cabin itself was charming and rustic. If you are wanting a fancy place to stay, this isn’t the place for you. If you want an awesome, quiet, rustic place where you have room to hike, enjoy the quiet and the land, this is definitely the place! We would come back to this place again!
I loved the feel of the cabin on this private property tucked among the pine trees. If you are looking for peaceful solitude, this is the place. Very close to the state park for hiking and the little town is cute too. The cabin was a little buggy, not too bad, but expected since it's in the middle of nowhere. I enjoyed a peaceful solo get away here.
