Welcome to our stunning stone cottage in the heart of the 1000 Islands, on the St. Lawrence River waterfront. Enjoy the most beautiful views and colorful sunrises & sunsets. Swimming, canoeing and fishing are right on our doorstep. We have a large outdoor area and firepits, seating, private beach, patio with gas BBQ, 110' x 8' boat dock and high-speed internet. 37 km of hiking/biking trails are just across the road. We are only 3 min from the historic downtown and restaurants, stores, cruise and casino.

This 6000 SF luxury house contains 3 suites, this is suite #1, it is on top floor, contains around 2500 square feet, has three comfortable bedrooms, sleeping 6-8 in total: one master bedroom with a king-sized bed with a walkout to the patio and its direct waterfront view, and two other bedrooms with one king bed and one queen bed. Each bedroom has direct access to its own balcony. We have a full-sized kitchen, living room with sofas, a sofa-bed and a large TV and a large main patio with a BBQ, table and chairs.
To ensure the safety to our guests, there are surveillance cameras surround the building.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

All outdoor activities include firepit should be done by 11 PM, fire should be put out. There should be no noise after 11 PM.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful house, located in a truly stunning setting, and spending Christmas there made the experience even more special. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely comfortable and at home.The house was very clean, and everything worked perfectly, which made our stay easy and relaxing. Definitely, a beautiful stay with beautiful views. Checkin process is so easy and host was very quick in response. There is some issue with hot water but other than that we had a really good time. Will definitely book one more time.

We had a lovely fall stay at this property! Lance was excellent with the communication and the property was stocked with all the amenities we needed. Quick access to both the 1000 Island region, hikes, the Ivy Restaurant, and Gananoque, this was a perfect halfway spot between Kingston and Ottawa for our family yo get away together. The outside area was picturesque with a perfect dock and beach area. Lots of swans, cormorants, and geese to watch on the lake while having your beverage of choice on the dock upstairs.

Pas possible de mettre un bateau au quai

Malgré que je me sois informé avant, il avait trop peu d’eau (max 3 pieds) sous le quai et selon les voisins, les vents sont toujours fort à cet endroit. De plus, les fenêtres sont pleins de fils d’araignées, les moustiquaires sont défoncés, il y avait des poils dans les draps, ça sentait mauvais dans les salles de bain et pas de fan de salle de bain. J’ai dû relaver toute la vaisselle et ils ont laissé qu’un fond de savon à vaisselle (j’ai dû aller en acheter) et une pastille à lave-vaisselle par jour qu’on restait. Il n’en restait plus pour la vaisselle de notre départ. Je suis déçue d’avoir payé un fort montant pour ce chalet, alors que j’ai dû en plus payer pour un quai à la marina et ne pas avoir mon bateau au quai.

Hi Eric, sorry for late reply I just had chance to translate this review to English. Yes. You asked for docking your boat in six months ago when you were making this booking, at time water level was high, but it changed to low when you were arriving. Its hard for us to predict the water level, it chances every few days. if you could call us before your arrival, it will have a better understanding. The cobwebs, yes, for the house by the water, it comes in every two to three days especially in the summer. I am now make sure the cleaner will come to house to clean it right before guest arrival. This luxury house come with air exchange system, and every room has a vent including the washroom, it will get polluted air to be exhausted from the house and bring fresh air into every room, it is not functioned by traditional fan. All dishes were washed by dishwasher before guest arrival, you don’t need to wash it again, if you dish soap was not enough, you should let me know, since we had few telephone conversations during your stay, then I can ask cleaner to deliver it to you. I believe the docking matter brought you a bad mood, and your wrote this review is not quite fair to me. I feel sorry about this. Anyways, I am willing to pay you back the marina fees. Endroit magnifique ☀️ L’intérieur est propre. Il manquait quelques effectifs dans l’équipement de la cuisine mais le propriétaire a rapidement réglé le tout . Par contre dans l annonce il est inscrit laveuse/ sécheuse mais nous ne pouvons utiliser celles de la demeure … il faut aller à l extérieur . Les communications sont rapides et efficaces avec le propriétaire . J’y retournerai très certainement pour la vue et l’emplacement super situé 👌

Great cottage with amazing views of the river

The location and the views from the cottage were spectacular. The rooms had enough views of the water from different angles. The cottage was well equipped although the furniture and appliances were mostly outdated but clean. The bedrooms were spacious and the bathrooms were very well maintained. Would loved to have another bedroom instead of the two dining rooms. The futon was not comfortable for the additional 2 people.

Great Cottage With Great Amenities Nearby

The place was very clean and had lots of space for our group of 8 to stay. The dock/firepit and yard were all great sizes and the place was maintained beautifully. Kayak/Canoe rentals are very close by and the town is close as well without the area being too crowded. Host was very friendly as well and responded quickly.

Fabulous Experience

Our host Lance from the very beginning to end communicated with us every detail and made this cottage trip one of the best till date. The place was very clean and neat , lots of room for children to enjoy the outdoors. Perfect cottage for the family. We loved every aspect of it. Beautiful View but needs work

As mentioned above the outside is beautiful. However, I was not impressed when we first arrived to find out we did not have the cottage to ourselves and instead there were 3 units in one cottage. Also, please note that the dock and private beach is not really private when you have to share it with all the other units. I stayed in unit 1. It was the biggest unit of all 3. In one of the 3 bedrooms there were gnats all over the bed, lamp, dresser and ceiling. The owner was fast to respond to have someone clean it up but it did take 2 attempts to try and get ride of them. Also, the AC unit does not work, the hot water did not work for half of my stay and the overall cleanliness of the place I do question because we found a used mask hanging from the window. Also, please note that the kayaks and canoes do not come with the place. You need to pay extra because they are not insured. Cindy the house manager was VERY helpful and sweet. Whenever the owner would contact her she would be there almost immediately to help. Overall, I enjoyed my stay outside the view and scenery was beautiful.

Thankyou Caitlyn it was an absolute pleasure to have you and your friends stay at Home of 1000 islands and it was unfortunate about the gnats, I believe it was caused by both patio and screen door were opened at same time and it covered by the curtain, and it was hard to recognize this opening, that’s how the gnats came into the room. We feel sorry to the gnats, on next day, we gave you canoe for free it was our compensation to the gnats, we didn’t charge this to you. We never recommended our canoe to guest due to our canoe is for owner own use. I'm glad you enjoyed the canoes and my apologies if you thought you were charged for them I assure you weren't. Top floor Unit 1 was wonderful.

We stayed in unit 1 which is on the upper floor. Place was spacious and clean and comfortable. We were worried about shared spaces at first but all 3 units have their seperate entrances and amenities including our own fire pits and picnic areas. Enjoyed our stay a lot and weren't bothered by the other parties there this weekend. Overall, highly recommend! Lance was great with responding to all our questions and all our needs. Place was very clean.

Such a gorgeous and perfect view

The owner was very helpful and understanding, answered immediately all our messages. The condo is huge and has two king comfortable beds, one queen squeezy bed and one sofa bed that we didn't use. We were two couples and my mother and my brother. When my brother saw the sofa bed, he decided to sleep in my mom's bed which is huge and he didn't regret that. The unit has a great big bathtub inside the master bathroom. The lake view is amazing and you can see it from the master bedroom, the living room and the dining room. It was such a beautiful stay that we will definitely repeat one day soon 👍😊

Nice quick vacation in Gananoque
