About this property

Cozy Lakefront Cottage on Quiet Family Friendly Lake!

Our little piece of heaven away from it all! Small, simple but pristinely clean and well stocked cottage as close to the water as you can possibly get. Just steps from the waters edge, the cottage is perfect for families or couples looking for a quiet getaway surrounded by nature. The four bedrooms comfortably sleep 8 (loft room - queen bed; main floor bedroom 1 - twin bunkbeds; main floor bedroom 2 - queen mattress; sunroom - double bed with lake view). The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could need, including a blender, 3 styles of coffee machine (regular drip coffee machine, Nespresso machine, and a French press), milk frother, kettle, toaster oven, microwave, popcorn popper, water cooler, pancake griddle, pitchers, etc. The bathroom houses a toilet, sink & small laundry machines and is accessed off the deck. The shower is located in a small outbuilding right next to the cottage. The lake water is typically warm and clear with a nice, shallow entrance that is safe for young children. There is no shortage of things to do outdoors. Enjoy watching the loons, turtles, and many song birds from the dock during the day. Head out on to the water to fish or paddle in one of our water toys - canoe, 2 kayaks, and 2 SUPS. If you're done with playing on the lake, entertain yourself with the many outdoor toys and sports available - ball gloves, golf clubs, pickleball paddles and portable net, tennis racquets, ladder golf, frisbie, Spikeball, water toys, etc. If you’re looking to enjoy some quieter moments, enjoy a nap in the hammock, or keep yourself entertained with one of the many puzzles, games, cards, crafts, and books available. End the day off by enjoying the firepit at night or taking in the stars from the dock while listening to the loons call. The cottage has satellite internet, a wireless speaker, as well as a TV to watch DVDs or stream with the Chromecast. There are fans in each room which keep the cottage nice and cool. There are also a couple portable a/c units for the really hot days if needed. Take in some of the many great activities to enjoy nearby including Lyndway Hills Golf Club, Wendy's Country Market, hiking, biking, fishing, antique shops, ferry tours of the Thousand Islands, and exploring the quaint towns of Lyndhurst, Delta, Brockville and Gananoque.

*As this is our family cottage, we are looking for respectful tenants who will enjoy it as much as we do. No parties pls. Will consider permitting small dogs - please seek approval first.

Loved my morning coffee on the dock soaking in the sunrise by the tranquil lake. Quaint farmers market nearby with delicious homemade relishes and fresh vegetables. However, the circuit breaker for the hot water tank kept on tripping resulting in lukewarm water at best.

Great stay at serenity now! Pam is responsive and supportive. The cottage has everything you will need, it’s very nice not having to bring linens. The wifi is not great but it’s good for a social media break. The water is warm the turtles were a highlight for my son.
