Close to beach

Pros- affordable and close to the beach. It was as clean as it could be. Friendly staff. Cons- smell of cigarette smoke as soon as you walk outside of your room. There was a sign stating they were turning into a non smoking property, so hopefully this won’t be an issue for future guests. Dated interior. My son was unable to take a bath due to the condition of the tub (stained/rusted). Our sheets were clean, but boxspring was in poor condition and stained.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us, Emily. We're glad you found our staff friendly, the property affordable, and the location convenient to the beach. We're sorry to hear about the concerns you experienced during your stay. We do wish we had know about them at the time so we could have addressed them right away. Since your visit, our property has officially become 100% non-smoking, and the designated smoking area has been removed. We hope this creates a more enjoyable environment for all guests moving forward. We'll also be sharing your comments regarding the tub and box spring with the unit owner for their review. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for a more comfortable stay in the future.

Perfect Location, Great Value

Pelican Pointe is directly across the street from the beach and one of the most desired resorts in Clearwater Beach- Opal Sands Resort! Room was Exactly as advertised. Only issue is needs more light over kitchenette area, but perfect in all other aspects.
