Ty Paradis is a lovely, fully-equipped apartment on the 3rd floor (no elevator) of a character building. A real cocoon in the heart of the historic center of Rennes, it's ideal for your business or leisure stay, and can comfortably accommodate 1 single person, a couple or a family of 4.

It features a separate bedroom, a kitchen-living room, a bathroom and a comfortable sofa bed.

When you stay at Ty Paradis, you're right in the heart of Rennes' historic center: cobblestone streets, half-timbered houses, Saint Pierre Cathedral, rue de la Monnaie et du Chapitre, Hotel de Ville, Place des Lices (with its Saturday morning market), Place Sainte Anne, Place du Parlement de Bretagne. The oldest house in Rennes is right next door to the apartment. Perfectly renovated and maintained, the district is very pleasant and close to all shops, restaurants and bars, concert halls (opera, TNB, Liberté...).

Small, but perfectly located property

The property is located in a pedestrianised street in Rennes historic centre. Most attractions are within walking distance and there is an underground station a few minutes away, so that travelling to and from the train station is very easy. There are also many cafes and shops nearby. The flat is small, but mostly comfortable: the bathroom was spotless and the kitchen well equipped. The only negatives are: - the toilet (which is separate from the bathroom) is extremely small and would be uncomfortable for any taller or larger than average adult. It also doesn't have a sink, so you need to go to the bathroom (which can only be accessed via the bedroom) to wash your hands. - there is no lift and the stairs are quite steep, so I wouldn't recommend this property to anyone who has mobility problems

Parfait pour un petit séjour

Ce logement est très bien pour quelques jours ! Les plus: - très propre - fonctionnel - bonne literie - joli - bien situé (au coeur de Rennes mais dans une rue piétonne tranquille) - l'agence (Cocoonr) qui gère le logement est vraiment bien: efficace, sympathique et très sérieuse ! Les moins (pour en trouver): - le parquet qui grince (ça peut avoir son charme) et ploie un peu par endroits - on entend parfois un peu le bruit des fêtards dehors la nuit, mais ça reste ponctuel et de par son emplacement ce n'est pas tous les soirs non plus ;) - wc petits ! (grands s'abstenir)

Beautiful, well located, sunny and smartly decorated

We spent several days in this wonderful apartment in Rennes as our base for our visit to Mont Saint Michel. It is a quick ride on the Metro to and from the Gare as well as right in the center of the historic district. You can easily walk to the amazing Saturday Lices market, historic half timber building districts, Place d’ Opera, and Parlement. The apartment is right on a fine shopping street and very close to the shopping district around the Republic Metro stop. There is a good bakery, La Brioche Doré, just down the street and an excellent Carrefour market just a few minutes walk on Place Hoche. The neighborhoods around Avenue Hoche and south of Republic are worth exploring for shopping and eating. The apartment itself is a wonderful place to spend some time enjoying the sunny ambiance of the living room and kitchen or people watching from the balconies. However, be fit and sure footed, the apartment is on the 3rd floor (fourth floor for Americans) up an ancient, but full of character, oak wood stairway.
