Classic beach cottage. Perfect for families! Beautiful beach property that sleeps 8 or 10 using sofa bed. Three bedrooms and three baths, two queen beds and two full beds. Decks facing the ocean on every level. Conveniently located to Gulf Shores but away from crowded public beaches or condos. Outstanding views of the Gulf with private access to the beach. No shared common areas on site.

Great views of the beach from porch, and balcony off master bedroom. There's a wall separating the other side of the porch & balcony, so you're separated from other visitors which we liked.Everything was clean and seemed well kept. Showers had good water pressure. The host gave us simple instructions for check-in & check-out.Right next to town, but still quiet and peaceful. Only about 25min to orange beach so we easily visited both areas. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Great stay

We had a great stay! We accidentally booked during the hangout festival, and were worried the beach would be super crowded however, this location felt like we had a private beach area even with the festival going on only about 2 miles away. We will definitely stay here again.

We had an amazing week at Gulf Shores!! It was a first time visit to this area and also to Alabama! Loved the location of this place-it is so nice to be right on the beach.This rental had everything that we needed and it was so clean and welcoming to us! We would love to return someday for another visit!!We enjoyed lots of walks on the beach and checking on the sea turtle nests. My husband and son did a lot of fishing!! We loved the shops which kept us busy during the rainy times! The Foam coffee shop, Happy Pappys, Parlor Doughnuts, Tacky Jack's, Lulu's, and Picnic Beach Restaurant were all SO delicious and I would highly recommend them to anyone! THANK YOU for a wonderful beach vacation!!

Gulf Shores Vacation

We greatly enjoyed our stay. The house was as described and had plenty of space for our family of 5. The beach is just steps away with easy private access and was exactly what our family needed for fun and relaxation time. The owners were extremely responsive and easy to work with. We will certainly stay here again.

Fabulous little house!!

We were very pleased with our stay! The house was off the beach…just a short walk right behind! There TWO decks with great views!! Morning coffee and dinner were awesome on the deck!! It was the perfect getaway for a girls’ trip!! We had a blast!! Will definitely book again next summer for another girls’ trip and if we decide to bring our spouses and kids to Gulf Shores!! It’s the perfect stay!!

Great location

The location of the property is great. It's on the quiet end of the beach yet close to everything. However, some updates are needed. New linens, lightbulbs, and some paint would go a long way. We did have what we needed in the kitchen and there were plenty of towels which was great. All in all, it was a nice weekend.

Perfect location for the BEST vacation!

We absolutely loved our stay at Sand Crab East!! The location is FANTASTIC!! Beach right off the porch and still conveniently located near food, attractions, retail, etc. Did I mention BEACH RIGHT OFF THE PORCH?!!! The view from the living room and master bedroom are *chefs kiss!* Would definitely recommend this property to friends and family and hope that we will be lucky enough to visit again!!

An amazing and affordable beach house!!

We visit gulf Shores several times a year. And we have always wanted to rent a beach house, but were not able to find one that we could afford. Well, we finally found one. You are going to want to stay at this place. Everything is set up well, and we appreciate that the owners have kept the price reasonable so that everyone can afford to stay in a beach house. Owners were very responsive and easy to communicate with. I highly recommend this place!

We just got back from the Sand Crab, the location and proximity to the beach was perfect. There were 5 adults sharing this house, and we had no problem what so ever with the space. However, there were only 4 kitchen chairs and seating for 5 in the living room. The property manager was very helpful and prompt with any questions. I would stay at this location again.

Family beach vacation

Location was great, no shoes needed just walk down the steps of the back deck and into the sand. The city has volleyball nets up on the beach probably every 4th house. This part of the beach wasn’t crowded at all, it’s not private but no lifeguard tower but there’s one very close. Dolphins a lot and there were two sea turtle nest close by. It’s not a new house but very clean and priced right in my opinion. I would stay here again if we make a family of 10 trip again.

Kitchen well stocked with dishware, utensils, cookware, etc. Gave 4 star due to kitchen floor mat very dirty and needing replacement. Living room stained carpet and side chairs needing easy stain removal & cleaning. Excellant place to stay and we had great time!

Absolutely stunning location. You are right on the beach. Sunsets are amazing. Close to lots of places to eat and things to do but it’s in a quiet area of homes. Beach is very private and we mostly had it to ourselves. House is very comfortable and kitchen is well equipped. I loved the multiple covered decks overlooking the Gulf.

Perfect for a little family get away

The property was perfect for our intended vacation of being on the beach, the back deck was large and even had space we could put a small splash pool for the kiddos! The walk to the beach is perfect and the views are beautiful! The beach was quiet not being near any big condo buildings. Communication was great we were able to navigate a few minor maintenance details, while there with quick response everytime! The house is sufficiently stocked for the basics! We would return here again in the future.

Great Family Vacay Bargain

The property could certainly use a little updating, but it was clean and everything worked properly (except some outdoor lighting). Great location right on the beach. Ample parking was a huge plus for us since we were all driving in from various locations to meet up. Our family enjoyed this vacay very much and we would stay here here again.
