About this property

Year round fun close to lakes, golf, and ski!

A beautiful four season retreat close to all the activities (ski, golf, lakes, snowmobiling, wine tasting, and more) Northern Michigan has to offer! With 3000 sq. ft. of living space on three levels there is plenty of room to spread out and relax. The main level has an open floor plan with a living room with wood burning fireplace, dining area, and kitchen. There is a mudroom for sandy shoes or ski boots off the kitchen as well as a half bath. The luxurious master suite is also on the main level with two large closets, walk in shower, and separate washer and dryer. The upper level has two bedrooms separated by a hallway and full bath for plenty of privacy. Plenty of fun to be had in the lower walkout level with a pool table, beer and wine fridges, card/game table, gas burning stove, as well as the fourth bedroom. A second laundry room with extra fridge is on the lower level as well. There is plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors with a large front porch, back deck, lower patio, and fire pit area.

Amazing Place

This was even better than the pictures—it accommodated our group so well with plenty of room. The property manager was very responsive to any questions I asked and we would book this property again for future stays! Great location for our ski weekend!

Ski getaway

House was really awesome and in fantastic shape, loved it! Neighborhood was nice, had a fire in the firepit. Pool table was fun! Would definitely stay there again.

Everything about the property was very well thought out. Check in and communication was very easy. The house was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. For our group, the access to the pools on the property was a great addition to the trip. The property was very peaceful being surrounded by trees as well. We would definitely stay here again!

Family getaway

This was our first winter getaway with our adult children and spouses. The house was everything we could ask for. So close to the resort for all our winter fun. Had a great time!! Thank you for having a wonderful home for us to stay in.

Quick getaway

This house is an absolute gem! A group of six adults stayed here for a long weekend, and it gave everyone plenty of privacy and plenty of things to do together. The owner is responsive and very accommodating.

Fun Fall Weekend

Family Ski Weekend

This property was just awesome! The location to Shanty Creek Ski Resort was perfect - short drive allowed us to ski and come back to warm up and eat! The bedrooms were perfectly situated for our family with 4 adults and 5 kids of differing ages. The teens enjoyed the lower level to themselves with pool table and other games. The house was equipped with SO much and Debbie was great at communicating and being flexible with our wishes! Would definitely stay here again!

Excellent stay!

Everything about this home was fantastic. Clean. Very well stocked (the kitchen knives were sharp… if you are a frequent VRBO’er… you will understand this struggle ). Beds were super comfortable & linens were nice. Pool table & lots of games were a nice touch. Fire pit & so much firewood! Highly recommend this property (or maybe not so it’s not booked when I want to stay there again ). Five stars all the way!!

Beautiful and secluded

Hands down the property was beyond amazing ! Entering felt very warm and inviting ! Every room had it's own personality and cleanliness was immaculate! Great Ski Base Camp

The house is well stocked with quality goods and everything you would need to enjoy your stay. Kitchen essentials are there along with toiletries for the showers. All of the towels and bedding are in great shape. Mattress was very comfortable and there is lots of space to spread out. The fireplace was a nice plus after a long day of skiing. We will definitely consider this on our next trip north!

Family Ski Trip

Every year we do a family ski trip. This has been our favorite house. 5 corners is our favorite location as it is in the middle of everything. The house only had one step which was great for my mom to enter. They came and plowed every time it snowed which was excellent. We will definitely recommend and rent this property again.

Perfect family getaway

This was the perfect getaway for my children and grandchildren! Sidewalk chalk, corn hole, board games, cards, pool table and darts…this him is so stocked from kitchen to laundry room. If you forgot something I am sure Debbie has it there. Debbie is quick to respond to questions. We are looking forward to coming back. Daughter in law family was loving location of home and all the amenities that they are going to book there as well! Thanks again for everything Debbie!
