Enjoy your stay in the recently renovated historic Matthew Walker House! Originally built in 1789, it was disassembled and moved down the street in 1977, then reassembled and added onto. This fantastic downtown location is 5-minute walk to Rupp Arena, Lexington Opera House, the Jefferson Street corridor, and loads of great restaurants. It's a short trip to The Distillery District and the rest of downtown.

Located in Lexington, this holiday home is in the city centre. Explorium and Lexington Brewing & Distilling Co. are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Downtown Arts Center and Lyric Theatre and Cultural Arts Center. Looking to enjoy an event or a game while in town? See what's happening at Keeneland Racing Course or Rupp Arena.
We had a wonderful guys weekend in Lexington with a distillery tour and Keeneland. This historic house was a great and made the trip memorable. Would absolutely stay again!
Our group stayed at the property for a wedding in Lexington. The house is in a great location in walking distance to all the restaurants and bars downtown. The house was very clean and slept 7 with ease. Would highly recommend.
We stayed here over UK graduation weekend. We were able to walk to Rupp and avoid the traffic and parking congestion, as well as all of the places downtown. The inside had plenty of space for 5 adults along with bathrooms connected to each of the bedrooms. With a kitchen and outdoor seating area, it was definitely better than paying even more to stay in a small hotel room. Consider this place for any activity in downtown Lexington!

Thank you. I'm glad it was convenient for your weekend. Come back anytime!
We loved the layout and the uniqueness of this home. Being the first renters coming off a long term lease there were some things that weren’t ironed out yet as expected but we enjoyed our time here and the property definitely suited our needs for our group of 11. We brought our own air mattress and there was room in both bedrooms for that space. The furniture could use an update but it went with the rustic home vibe. Overall a great house!
We truly loved our stay! The house was the perfect location while we were in town for the Kentucky Three Day Event at the Horse Park. The easy walk to local restaurants and a short drive to the Distillery District were great for our stay. Loved having a safe place with a little yard for my dog as well. Will certainly be considering this spot if we find ourselves back in Lexington!
