Very clean, perfect size for our family of 4. Close to skiing. Easy instructions for everything. Beautiful decorations. Really appreciate you letting us stay at your house!
This place was amazing! Beautiful view of the valley looking over the NC Appalachian mountains. The hot tub and air hockey table were a hit with the whole family. HIGHLY recommend this place!
We found this home to have just what was needed for our stay during Merlefest, the music festival at Wilkes Community College. The view is wonderful, the home was clean and had everything we needed for a perfect stay.

Thanks for sharing. We hope to hear from you and have you visit again soon!
We booked this cabin for a weekend ski trip, and it was everything we could have wanted. The house is beautiful, it was clean when we got there, and everything was as advertised on the listing. I’ve already recommended this cabin to friends, and I plan on staying here again at some point. Thanks for such a fun weekend!

Thanks so much for letting us know you enjoyed the property. It was a pleasure sharing our home with you and we hope that you will visit us again in the very near future.
Clean, comfortable mountain home with beautiful views
Listing was accurate, photos provide good views. The house was very clean. Check-in was easy (and property manager helped my father in law when he had trouble reading some instructions). Kitchen is well stocked, hot tub worked well. Views are amazing. Ample parking for multiple cars. The fireplace wasn’t working when we got there. The property manager was quick to respond with some help options but ultimately it wasn’t able to be fixed. Quick drive into Boone, enjoyed playing games, hot tub, tv worked fine. Would definitely stay there again!

Thank you so much for choosing and staying in our home. We are thrilled that you appeared to have enjoyed your stay and that the home met your vacation needs. We look forward to welcoming you back again to our home. Safe travels!
We spent a 3 nights at this peaceful home with our two grandsons, ages 6 and 11. The proximity to other homes was great, very private but not too isolated. We took them to Tweetsie and it was a very short ride to 321. The discounts VRBO provided for Tweetsie was appreciated. The beds were comfortable, the view was stunning. The downstairs was perfect for kids and they fell in love with air hockey, even got them off iPads!! Well appointed kitchen. Loved the telescope! The porches were comfortable. If we had stayed longer I would have loved to cook a meal on the Blackstone. Plan to go again.

Thank you for taking the time to review our home. We are thrilled to hear that the home met your needs as well as expectations. We look forward to welcoming you back here at the home in the very near future.
We had a wonderful stay for our daughter’s college graduation. The home was well equipped with a beautiful view. The neighborhood is nice. We would stay here again.
The coffee maker leaked all the water and was replaced quickly when I reported it. The refrigerator’s water dispenser did not work and was not repaired during our stay. The ice maker began working later in our stay. At one point during our stay while two showers were being taken, the water suddenly stopped running but it came back on after a 5 minute delay- strange.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this cabin overall. The view from inside the house and on the porch is great and helped us to relax and unwind. The home itself is nice and provided plenty of space for our group and was not too far from either Boone or Blowing Rock. However, some of the other aspects of our stay weren't super smooth:1. There is a major shortage of amenities/supplies that I would expect to be standard. After booking, we received a message about all of the supplies we'd need to bring ourselves, including that they'll provided a "starter roll of toilet paper" but that we would need to supply the rest ourselves. It was good to know this in advance but not convenient for us to bring extra supplies when we were only staying a weekend.2. This leads into the second issue which is that there was a dishwasher full of dishes upon arrival, some of which had become moldy. The lack of supplies made this even more of an issue since we were only given two total dishwashing pods for our stay. This meant we had to use one just to try to clean the full load of dishes present at arrival, and then had to hand wash most dishes after that to avoid using up our only other dish soap pod during our stay. There was also an envelope left on the counter to tip the cleaning crew which seems very strange given that the cleaning fee is over 200 and we arrived to dirty dishes.3. Communication with "host" during our stay seemed automated/AI-generated and was not correct or helpful.

Thank you Kyle for staying at Dream Catcher and sharing your experience. Thank you for reminding everyone that we do email prior to everyones arrival what sundries are supplied and how much. Knowing what was supplied certainly assisted you in avoiding being surprised. Regarding the dishwasher. It is not unusual for our cleaning staff on the clean just prior to your arrival to begin their cleaning by loading all dirty dishes in the washer and starting the cycle, IF the cycle is not complete by the time the cleaner is done with the home they will leave the unit running and the washer full. In looking at our records I did not that the home was cleaned 2 days prior to your arrival. I have to say I am a bit confused as to how the dishes became moldy in such a short time and what with the drying process on the washer. Regarding the tip envelope, in the hospitality industry tipping is not a new phenomenon. Its pretty standard to do so. Our cleaners are private contractors and many of the on-site cleaners are hourly waged people working for that cleaning contractor. As such a few dollars to those folks can really go along way. Communication is not AI but is actually a person responding who might given the circumstances use a pre written template that was composed by a person. The vast majority of responses are done by an individual in the moment and is not AI generated. Again thank you for staying and we wish you well going forward.

It is hard for me to give this home a positive review, since we ended up moving to a different cabin after our first evening's stay. The three stars are for the cabin location, view, and overall decor. We had initial issues with the hot tub not being clean. Carolina Rentals sent someone over immediately to perform a drain and refill, but one of the tub pillows was missing and they all looked like they needed to be replaced, regardless tub could not be used since water temp needed time to get back to 100+.It was frustrating too, that the inspector mentioned he never checked the hot tub, because they were too busy. After putting our groceries in cabinet we realized that ants were everywhere, especially all over kitchen counter. The toilet in front bathroom would not flush. There was a ceiling leak in the dining room. This did not impede our stay but wanted to make sure owners were made aware since water was dripping down wall near electric. The hvac vent in main living area was draped in cobwebs and missing filter. All of these issues w/i 24 hours was more than we expected, especially with the additional cleaning charges for the hot tub. We called CCR multiple times to see what our options were. They were very courteous on the phone, but we had to wait several hours for a manager to make a decision. It was a frustrating start to our mountain vacation. Luckily we had better luck with our second cabin.

Your review is appreciated. We were so disappointed that your experience at the first cabin did not meet your expectations. We are so thankful we had a great cabin such as Morris Cabin to move you to. We have very stringent inspection procedure just so to avoid any guest from experiencing what you did at this first cabin. Than you so much for bringing these issues to our attention. We have used each item as an educational opportunity for our staff. Its our sincerest hope that you will judge us not by the issues but by the way we rectified and corrected any deficiencies you experienced.
Thank you so much for sharing. Guest feedback is so integral in providing the very best experience possible for our valued customers. Its our fondest hope to see you again, sooner rather than later.
This is the perfect house for a little get away. The views, the location, the kitchen as well as beds all exceeded our expectations. We will definitely rent “Dream Catcher” again!

We had an amazing experience at Dream Catchers! Easy roads, adorable neighborhood, beautiful, clean updated home, and spectacular views. Our washing machine didn’t work, which is the only negative but the office communicated well and compensated us for the inconvenience. We will be return renters!!
