Watching the River Flow in Historic Holy Cross

Cute and comfortable apartment nestled into a curve of the Mississippi River levee -- 10 minutes from the French Quarter and Frenchman Street and only a stone's throw from many great restaurants, bars and music venues in Bywater, Faubourg Marigny and the St. Claude Corridor. The apartment has spacious high ceilings, exposed brick and lovely original woodwork. There is one bdrm with a comfy queen bed and a memory foam futon sofa in the living room. It is fully equipped with everything you will need for a comfortable stay. All of the basics are provided and more. Fully equipped kitchen and bath, T.V. and w-fi.

Patricia left little notes about different things such as potential freeze weather, letting us know if something is out of order, just little quality of life things. She was so responsive and helpful whenever we had any type of issue. I stayed for the Rockin 1000 event and it was beyond the expression of words, the perfect spot to unwind and relax after long days. Yeah downtown is awesome, but being right next to Bywater is probably the best decision I could’ve made, always 11/10 experiences. Highly highly recommend this place, 10 stars if possible

Patricia was very responsive to questions and quick to help. It was a quiet neighborhood away from the city, but not too far away.

Host was nice, made check in very easy. Can not see the river from the porch. Apartment was very clean and nice. The neighborhood was an interesting experience . Dont really have too much to say about the shops near-by, because quite frankly I wasnt going to stop. Did go to Bourbon street, the food was great.

The living quarters were dirty: dirt was in the corners on the floors, dust on the tables and on night stands. Refrigerator was dirty outside and inside, the stove had black burned staff around the burners. The toilet would not flush properly. The lower lock broke, and I couldn’t get in. There were two inch long cockroaches.

I vehemently dispute this review. Tatiana complained about everything from the moment she arrived. I have hundreds of 5 star reviews. Tatiana review is inconsistent with many past guests who have very much enjoyed their stay in my home. I suspect that Tatiana is a scammer who complains about everything in order to demand a refund. If she saw roaches, they were dead because the apartment was recently sprayed for pests. Bugs are simply unavoidable in South Louisiana. Tatiana was the worst guest I have had in 8 years of operating a short term rental. Do not rent to her.

I had such a relaxing and lovely time during my stay. The house is lovely, everything was so clean, the snacks and extra details were such a plus and nice touch, and the hospitality and communication was deeply appreciated. Looking forward to being back!

Wonderful Stay

This was everything I dreamed of when I envisioned New Orleans. Classic shotgun home with beautiful details, pocket doors, high ceilings, fireplace in rooms. Every amenity was provided, I could have just brought my clothing. We would love to come and stay again.
