The Cabin reminded me of family cabins we had in Northern Wisconsin, It had everything you needed and was very comfy. Big hits for the Sun Porch Nice,! Kitchen and Bathroom also nice, the Lake was great used the paddle boat and did a little fishing caught several bass and blue gills which were released. The side door needs work/replacement no air conditioning, we lucked out cause the temperature's were mild 70's day time and 60's at night perfect for this cabin! Thanks

Glad you enjoyed the property. There was “no luck” involved in the removal of the air conditioner as it was intentional given the weather forecast. You acknowledged the lack of need. Unfortunately it created a “lower review”. Hope to be at your service again.

Peaceful cabin stay

Conveniently located between Syracuse and Ithaca, it was the perfect home away from home while visiting the campuses.

Peaceful location

This very rustic cabin was the quiet getaway my wife and I were looking for. Things were very clean and comfortable. Everything was described as it is in the summary of the location. Had a great time thank you so much for being great host Steve and Kathy.

Green Lake

Absolutely relaxing and clean. Everything we needed for some peace and quiet. Enjoyed the front porch over looking the clear lake. It was overcast and cool but the porch was cozy. Nice to have a fire next to the lake. Town was nearby and quaint.

Great get away

The property was fabulous. Plenty of room and all the comforts of home. The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware so we needed to bring nothing. The lake was right out the porch door so I was able to sit, read, and have my coffee before doing a little fishing off the dock.

The best little vacation ever

Thank you for the wonderful stay. The cabin was beautiful as well as comfortable. The scenery was picturesque and it was lovely to be able to laze outside in the sun on the dock, or in one of the many comfortable chairs. We especially enjoyed riding in the paddle boat, eating fish from the lake and swimming. All in all it was a much needed break in the best place imaginable. The hosts were gracious, friendly and helpful and prepared the cabin nicely. We will definitely plan to come back

Not so rustic

Reminded me of my childhood stays at family lake camps. Very clean, comfortable & had everything we needed. Owners were approachable & accommodating. Neighbors were friendly. Recently remodeled bathroom & front porch made it modern & spacious. We'd love to come back next year.

Relaxing retreat

This was exactly what we expected, a cabin by the lake. Very clean, very friendly neighbors. Nice front room to sit in and take in the relaxing view of a lake mirroring the sky and then just walk of the peer for a swim or go fishing. Caught one every time we cast. Beautiful trails to go walking in surrounded by great forests. Nice local breweries. Even though the weather wasn't the best we loved it.

Blue cabin on Green Lake

The cabin was so cozy and comfortable! We were fortunate to be there when the leaves are starting to change so the trees around the lake were stunning. It was very chilly so thankfully the cabin has two space heaters which were very much necessary and appreciated! The cabin has everything we needed and the surroundings were amazing. Beds were comfortable and well-stocked kitchen. We also appreciated the coffee and shampoo and conditioner :)

Late September on Green Lake

The property was small and rustic, as described, but nicely maintained with a very well stocked kitchen and nice bathroom. It was the perfect size for the two of us. Outside temperature during our late September stay was pretty cold at night, but the space heaters provided kept the place very comfortable. Too cold for swimming during our stay, but very clear water was inviting. Very nice areas to hike nearby, but need to drive a ways for food.

Back in time

If you’re looking for a peaceful quiet place and don’t mind going back in time and enjoy the simple life, this is the place. The lake is as clear as you’ll ever see . It’s not fancy but very homey. Great host !
