Beautiful Family-Friendly Vacation

Had a great time with my family on St. Petes beach at the Tradewind. This resort is in a great location and something is always going on. Had a beautiful view of the Sunset each night, we will be back for sure.

The resort is great. Lots to do and lots of things within walking distance. The Ice Cream shop is the best! Friendly staff and very kid friendly!

Incredible view

Room was comfortable with an incredible view of the Gulf. I do wish the renovation work on the bottom floor had been completed because navigating in and out from the elevator when “traffic” was high was somewhat difficult. The Tradewinds staff is always so helpful and gracious. We loved our stay.

Perfect sport- great resort- nice activities

Staying on the Tradewinds resort is great! Tons of activities for the kids and nice amenities. The rooms was nice and the staff was very friendly. Everyone made a point to say hello. The cabanas, super slide and pools/hot tubs were just some of the nice extras you get. We had lunch at the Flying Bridge and enjoyed the food and ambience. All the drinks we had at the bars were good too. I will definitely be back to the Tradewinds.

Family Vacation

Overall, it was a good experience. The room was spacious, larger than the room on the hotel side. The pools were small and crowded, Red Tide prevented many from going to the beach. The elevators are really small. The food options on the grounds were good and provided a variety. The amenities offered were nice, kids enjoyed the mini golf, paddle boats and pool activities.

Exactly as described

I was a little concerned based on the reviews for the property managers of our tradewinds weekly rental, but everything was exactly as if we had booked through tradewinds directly. We love this resort and this rental of a blue green unit was consistent with all previous tradewinds rentals. Id definitely stay at this unit with rrp again.

Quick Getaway.

Wonderful resort to spend your vacation at. Has all the amenities you would expect from any all-inclusive resort. Staff was friendly and always helpful. Two days was not enough to fully enjoy all this place has to offer. Room was comfortable and everything you would expect. AC in room was a little weak for someone not use to Florida heat. Could have used a fan too.

Family Get Together

The property itself is excellent for group gatherings. The room arrangements made it very difficult to get together. Requesting adjoining rooms, or rooms nearby other family members resulted in rooms on separate floors and nowhere near other family members although some adjoining rooms where empty!

Total Relaxation!

Had a wonderful stay at TradeWinds Resort. We loved all of the amenities, especially the beach cabanas which we used daily. Resort itself was very clean and staff was very friendly. I was a little disappointed with the condition of our room, toilet was not attached well, was wobbly and leaking. Housekeeping did not come to our room once during our 6 night stay. I had to call for towels as we were only given 2 and ended up running out and needing fresh ones. Almost ran out of toilet paper as well. Hope they make some improvements to the rooms and improve housekeeping services. Will definitely be back as we do love TradeWinds and St. Pete Beach.

We have always loved the Tradewinds and their beach. Was thrilled that we got one free cabana a day. Liked the kitchen accessories and a frig that actually kept things cold. No complaints for the room except bath floor could of been cleaner. The beds were comfortable and room size was fine for 4 adults. Loved the view! I didn't like the check in where they were trying to set up an appt for our next vacation. I came to vacation and we could have been told that was available and left it at that. I shouldn't have to give any reasons for not doing it. Ask if someone would be interested and move on.

Tradewinds Blue/Green Building

The place could use some updating. Entry door needs to be slammed shut because it sticks so bad. A/C unit needs to be serviced as it made gurgling noises 24/7, Room service skipped my room on the two days i did not have the sign on the handle. Construction in front of the building was going on. So, hearing trucks back up at 6:00am everyday was kind of disappointing. You can see the sunrise from the room. It was nice to have amenties such as shampoo,conditioner etc.

Good location

We were disappointed. We have stayed at the Tradewinds many times before but we were disappointed this time. Several of the restaurants and bars were closed on premise. This would have been good to know ahead of time. There was no music by the adult pool. Room keys didn’t work half the time. Several resort amenities were closed but we still had to pay resort fees. Couldn’t access the pool or outdoor bar at Rum Fish. We still enjoy the location and the beds were good. We will definitely be checking other options for our next visit.
