This is the PERFECT lake compound for large families and friends! Loads of space for relaxing or playing in the pool, hot tub, or hanging on the dock.

You won’t want to leave this house! There are several local boat rentals, google "boat rental near Hudson Bend" for a full list. Some companies will pick you up right at our dock!

We have abundant luxurious space for families and friends. 1+ acre of land and spacious 5000+ sq feet of living space. Dining seats 12, Beds for 18 guests. Spacious deck with table for 6. Large ground floor patio around our pool. Swim, boat or just hang out at the beautiful pool or on the dock.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

This property is exactly as described! Perfect for big groups or families. We had a pontoon boat pick us up from our dock which was very convenient. Would definitely stay there again.

Enjoyed relaxing outside in the pool on the hot Austin afternoons. Nice location - close enough to Austin so you could be in the city with a short drive.

Coed bachelor and bachelorette party

This was the most amazing home, equipped with everything you need! The host responded fast and was accommodating, especially when we left things behind… oops! If you’re looking to do a bachelor bachelorette trip this is a great place. It was seven minutes from our boat booking with ATX party boats. It was far from downtown, but one night downtown versus quality time in the house I would choose the quality time.

Awesome stay in lake Travis

Went with a bunch of friends and has an amazing time at this house. Really well set up for a group of friends with tons of activities. 10/10 all the way around, I would love to come back to this place.

Great experience

From start to finish Paula was there to assist our group with inquiries and needs. We had a group of 15 for a bachelorette party and we all slept comfortably. we enjoyed the pool area and patio/yard , the home came stocked with a lot of add ons that were not anticipated (pool floats, amp, coolers, etc). We had a great time and the location is unbeatable to the marina. i would stay here again anytime. thanks again Paula!

Exquisite time

Big group of dudes visited for bachelor party. House was more than accommodating for feeding, sleeping and hanging out by the pool. Short drive to good local restaurants and to the marina on lake Travis for boating. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to the area

Great Lake House!

We did a girls weekend here in May and had the best time. Paula was very helpful. The house is HUGE and there are lots of amenities. Recommend for families, girls trips....

Had a nice stay and Paula was communicative to questions that came up. The house handles large groups well. Note that the cove is fully dry and there isn’t any lake access.

This house made for such an incredible girls weekend! We never wanted to leave! The house was super spacious, clean, and had everything you could possibly need. Paula is super helpful and great with communication. Would totally stay again!

Paula was an amazing host. She reply’s fast and was a great help with any questions we had. The house was clean and large perfect for our group of 17 guests. Beds were comfortable and perfect amount of bathroom space as well. Highly recommend for your next stay on Lake Travis.

Very Spacious

The property had a lot of space for our group of 11. We enjoyed the pool and outdoor amenities. Paula was very responsive to all of our needs and checked in throughout the stay. The only downside was that it was a little difficult to get an uber and we had to schedule ubers in advance. Overall, we had a lovely time!

Great stay!

I stayed here with a group of friends for a bachelor party. The house was huge and had lots of things to do. The lake’s water level was really low, make sure to check before so that it’s not a surprise. Overall, we had a blast and this place is awesome! Paula was great and communicated well. Would stay again.

Amazing bachelorette trip!

We had a group of 13 stay here for a bachelorette trip and this house was everything we could have asked for! The house was clean and well kept, stocked with everything we could have possibly needed and more! We LOVED the outdoor pool area and it offered space in the shade for those of us who needed to escape that Texas sun. Paula was an amazing host both prior to and during our booking. She was quick to respond to any questions we had and even checked in on us midway through our stay to see if we needed anything. Would definitely stay here again & recommend to anyone headed to the area!

Great house

Great house, plenty of room, pool is great. As other reviewers have mentioned due to the low water level of the lake, the boat dock is unusable for any water activities. We did rent a boat at a nearby marina for a day so we could enjoy the lake.

Best property I've ever stayed at!

This property checked every box our group was hoping for AND some. The perfect residence for our friend group reunion. Super clean, up to date, spacious, and aesthetically beautiful, I couldn't find one complaint about this listing. Mrs. Paula was responsive in a VERY timely manner and we couldn't ask for a better host. 10/10 recommend.

Perfect for big family vacay

This property was perfect for our large family vacay! The pool was lovely, and the large shallow areas and edge around the side made it perfect for little ones and new swimmers. The small turf area came in handy for smaller yard games and keeping small children contained. And the large yard was so fun for flag football, Wiffle ball, and other sport games (we brought these). The fire pit was a great addition for s’mores. The house is huge! So much space for everyone. And lots of activities! Never an excuse to be bored that’s for sure :) The large kitchen with two refrigerators made big meals easy to prepare. There are many lovely serving dishes to use as well.

Stunning!

This house impressed my friends and I greatly! There was more space than I could have imagined, most of the beds are incredibly comfortable, and the place was well stocked both indoors and outdoors. There was so much charm and beauty at this place and the views, the chance for close friends to reconnect with a place like this and disconnect was honestly perfect. I loved being here and if they would have me, I'd gladly come back when I revisit Austin! Paula was wonderful to communicate with, kind, and incredibly helpful. The house is far enough to the city for peace, but close enough for a night out. we also loved how many luxury bathtubs and water feature in the pool created a really relaxing stay for my friends and I. Thanks so much again!

Best house ever!

Paula's place was perfect for my large group and was even larger and nicer than expected in photos. There is so much space for many folks to stay comfortably. My group had 13 people, but 16 could have easily fit comfortably. The beds were all comfy, and there were so many amenities. I've stayed in many rental properties without such thoughtful touches. She had every kitchen appliance we could ever need, many games, plenty of pillows and blankets, and such a lovely outdoor space! We loved the pool and hot tub so much. The neighborhood was quiet, with a grocery store less than 10 minutes away. Plenty of seating for everyone for awesome group meals. And we loved using the grill! Unfortunately, the lake is dry on the property, but we had so much fun in the pool we barely missed it. Will definitely plan to stay at this property again!

Don't assume this house is on the lake

Renters need to make sure to check the lake levels before assuming this house is on the lake (if that's why you are booking the house). When we visited August 2023 there was no water in the canal (not a little, none) so the house was not on the lake and not very close to the lake. This was a surprise to us. Communication with property manager was very good - responsive, etc. Convenient location, ~45 minutes from the airport. House was relatively clean when we arrived. Great pool. Neighborhood was a mix of nice houses and trailer homes. Yard could have been cleaned up better (industrial trailer and other equipment parked behind the pool, etc.)

Why they chose this property

If you have a large family or group, you probably wont fit anywhere else on the lake. This house is the perfect get away for family reunions or corporate outings. However, we do have a strict noise ordinance as we do have neighbors that we do not want to be disturbed.

Yard is xeri-scaped with wide variety of flowering plants, trees. Lots of birds, deer, squirrels, sometimes even a fox visits.

Pool Canyon Cove is one of few deep water coves on Lake Travis. The whole cove is no wake zone (boats idle through). Main body is a minute away and you can go skiing or boating while everyone can swim at the house in safety. This cove is the perfect spot for kayaking or paddle boarding. Feel free to bring your own.

The home is 30 minutes form downtown Austin, with shopping and restaurants 5 to 10 minutes away.

What makes this property unique

You won't find another home that accommodates large families on Lake Travis.
Invite the entire family but don't worry about being crowded in one home. This house has plenty of areas for your own peace and enjoyment. Sit on one of the outside decks and stare at the lake or wander down to the dock (about 75 yards) and enjoy the peaceful lake.
