A great location for exploring Yosemite, with an excellent lake nearby. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Plenty of birds and wildlife around. Highly recommended.
House needed a cleaning prior to our stay. It was dusty all over and there were multiple bugs in the house. I understand it was during the off season but the house should’ve cleaned and cleared of bugs before our stay
We chose this stay due to location and high percentage of positive reviews. The local town and drive into the park was perfect. The listing was pretty accurate but there are some cleanliness concerns regarding bathroom/shower stalls.
The cabin was cute, clean and quiet. The beds are super comfortable. We went to Yosemite and it was a nice spot the relax after a long day of hiking. The little town of groveland was cute and friendly.
I live across the street. It was nice to find a vacation rental so close to our home. The four family members who stayed in this home enjoyed their stay.

I am glad it worked out for you and your family. Hope you will stay with us again. Thanks, Al
My family stayed here for a weekend trip to visit Yosemite. This place had all we needed and then some! There was everything for the whole family from games, movies and an outside car for the toddler. We enjoyed dining outside with the great corner table. I would highly recommend this place to stay.

Hi Kahla, good to read that your family took advantage of the games and the outside corner table on the porch. Glad that you had a nice stay. Take care, Al
We enjoyed our stay, the cabin was perfect for our family. All the rain was unfortunate for exploring although we got to see some deer and turkeys from the deck. The cabin was inviting and clean. The location was also perfect for us! We would definitely rebook this cabin in the future.
We enjoyed our stay at this charming older cabin in a great location, just minutes from the Yosemite entrance. The highlight was definitely the backyard, which offered peaceful views and visits from deer and wild turkeys—perfect for relaxing after a day in the park. The cabin is generally comfortable, but a few improvements would make it even better. Additional lighting would go a long way in enhancing the overall comfort. Just a heads-up: there’s a 50 fee added to the stay.Overall, a cozy and convenient base for exploring Yosemite!

Nice to have Lily at our place, she respected our requests and took care of the cabin.
Al was a very responsive and attentive host. This property is close to the heart of Groveland and was a great jumping point for our adevrurwa in Yosemite. The outside space was perfect for our active 3 yr old!!
The cabin is perfect for a family. You are within trees and wildlife. Almost every morning we had a deer walk by. The property was wonderful, even in the large community. Yet, so close to the entry gate.
We loved the vibe and rustic feeling of the cabin. Highly recommend to anyone! The cabin was truly comfortable with its 2 room and bathroom, kitchen was spacious. Thank you Al, for making us feel home away from home!

I was looking for a place to stay near Yosemite to take my 3 granddaughters to. This cabin was perfect - had all amenities for a comfortable stay - kitchen had pots, pans, dishes, etc…. Bathrooms had shampoo, conditioner, soap and hair dryers. Cute outdoor porch - we played games, read, and saw a deer resting nearby. We spent one day at Yosemite (would recommend the Valley Floor Tour tram ride - it’s a 2 hr drive highlighting the major sights in the park). After doing some hiking, it was nice to rest and let someone else do the tour! We thought we might have a fire when we got back to the cabin, but the evening was still pretty warm. Definitely recommend this cabin! The girls also enjoyed the pool and the lake. There is also a golf course, don’t know the fee for that. It’s about an hour and 15 minute drive from the cabin to the Yosemite lodge where we parked (took a while to find a spot though). Host is very quick to respond with any questions….

Outdated and dusty
Property was very dusty in all walls, artwork, corners, & ceilings. Mold in bathroom showers. Felt dirty although the horizontal surfaces were wiped down. Walked into freezing house. 40 degrees to-be exact. Pillows not comfortable. We felt that it was tolerable but would not return.
