Luxury Modern Home, Views, Hot Tub, Best Location in CB

Big Sky is one of the top homes in Crested Butte. It was the developer of award-winning Pitchfork development's house that he built for himself, so it includes all high-end finishings. The location is also one the best in CB; views of the Mountains, valley and Mt. CB. The bike path is across the street which will take you into town and it's on the free city bus route, so you can get to town or the mountain in minutes.

Please note that we only rent to families or small, mature groups (no more than 6).

You walk into an entry where you unload your boots, shoes and equipment. Upstairs, you'll find a spacious living room with deck, fireplace and 55-inch TV. The dining room and adjacent kitchen are outfitted with high-end appliances, utensils and dishwear...anything you need to cook or entertain. At the back of the second floor is a den with pull out couch and adjacent half bath.

On the third floor, you'll find the spacious master bedroom with king bed, full bath with steam shower and plenty of closet space. A second bedroom includes queen bunk beds and a third bedroom has two full beds with a loft.

There is a spacious tiered and professionally-landscaped patio on the side of the house; perfect for barbecues or in the winter, a relaxing dip in the hot tub while you enjoy the sunset views.

Big Sky is the perfect house for a family, two families or a group of adult friends who enjoy the finer things. There are 2 parking places: 1 covered, in a garage and one uncovered.

Perfect home for a family to explore CB!

My family of five (kids 8-12 years) had a fabulous stay at Dawn & Matt’s house. The location is convenient to both town and the mountain village (we walked/biked to both). Their home is well cared for with comfy mattresses, puzzles with all pieces in tact, and a beautiful garden area with an incredible hot tub. We would absolutely recommend this rental to friends!

Stunning Mountain Home

We loved our stay and were so impressed with the beautiful views from the home and the hot tub. The home itself is beautifully decorated. The layout was great as the fourth bedroom served as a kids play area while still close to adults on the main floor. We also appreciated all the closet and bench space on the first floor for ski gear, boots, coats. The kitchen is open and easy to cook in while still chatting with friends in the dining or living areas. Everything seemed brand new - sheets, towels, dishes, it was all very nice. The bus stop to the mountain and town is very close to the house. Also, the hot tub is not to be missed!

Beautiful!!

This property is amazing!!! Does not feel like a rental property like other places I’ve stayed. Very clean with comfortable Mattresses and couches. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes/cookware and SPICES!!!! The view of the ski hill and mountains was spectacular. The view from the hot tub is a beautiful open field w mountains in the distance….the perfect to relax after a day of skiing. Distance to the shuttle us a very short walk, easy even for my 4 and 6 year olds in ski boots. One thing I would mention is that one of the bedrooms listed includes a pullout couch. However, there is a sign in that room that states it’s not a sleeping area. Just something to consider if you have a larger group. I would definitely recommend this property!!!

Enjoyed our pre-Christmas family ski trip. Location was perfect being so close to lifts and town. House was comfortable and had everything we needed. Views were beautiful out every window. Adult kids enjoyed the hot tub after skiing each day. Kitchen was fully equipped and was nice size and modern. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Amazing house!

This house fit our family perfect! There is a wonderful patio where we could hang out and enjoy the view. The steam shower is so nice after a long day hiking. Everything is clean and the kitchen has all the items needed for cooking. We can’t wait to come back next year.

Incredible Home

Five Stars All-Around — perfect location, lovely home

This was the perfect home base for our Thanksgiving week getaway with our elementary aged sons and my parents. The house is located in between the ski lifts and town (just a few minutes in the car or a decent walk in the cold from each). It has beautiful views of the mountains. The home was spotless, well-decorated, and had everything we could need (including a kitchen well-stocked with basics to even prepare a Thanksgiving feast). It was a treat to soak in the hot tub and enjoy the snowy mountain vistas after a day sledding or skiing. We spent a lot of time in the open floor plan kitchen/living room/dining area on the second level watching holiday movies and working on a puzzle by the fireplace. A highlight of our trip was a sunset snowmobile trip with Action Adventures (located right by the lifts). We even saw a moose! The homeowner is very responsive. I highly recommend this rental. We can’t wait to come back.

Thanksgiving Getaway!

I visited this beautiful home with my husband and daughter and her family from the Waco, Tx area. It was truly a delight! We enjoyed everything from the steam shower to the hot tub! It was everything we hoped for. Matt (the owner) was so good about communication with us even though he was on vacation himself! Can’t wait to come back... hopefully soon.

Originally from the Midwest, I live in Austin, Texas with my wife, two boys and dog. We recently purchased Big Sky and absolutely love it.

Why they chose this property

Crested Butte has become our happy place and Big Sky makes our stays that much better. We enjoy the laid back feel of the town, the people and all the activities it has to offer. When we first saw Big Sky, we knew it was the right place for us. The house was built by a developer, so it has all high-end finishings and furnishings and is laid out to make the most of location. The views are incredible and it's located at the end of a road, against a cow pasture, so the privacy is unmatched and the views unobstructed.

The house is tastefully decorated with bedrooms and beds to sleep 6 comfortably. My family and I travel domestically and globally and this house is the best we've stayed in; it's both comfortable for us and guests, with luxury, privacy and views. And the free town bus stops feet from our door to take you to town or to the mountain base.

We are excited to share it with our guests and to start racking up some positive reviews.
