Swank 1969 Palm Springs Entertainment Hideaway

Welcome to a beautifully reimagined home circa 1969 located in prestigious Twin Palms Estates in the south end of Palm Springs. The home offers magnificent views of the San Jacinto mountains, privacy, a 40' lap pool and spa, and most of all, the tranquility of the desert warmth, air and light.

The 60's design provides easy, relaxed living while on vacation. Shopping, hiking, antiquing, golfing, horseback riding are but a few of the local activities available to the visitor.

The home was renovated top to bottom in 2013, and features all new bathrooms and kitchen, flooring, gravel roof, DG ground covering and pea gravel around the pool area. The pool will not be heated for March rentals.

There are up to 7 conversation areas around the property starting with the 75' covered patio with skylights...reaching around to the new courtyard in the front of the home, offering tranquil views of the San Jacinto mountains.

The extremely quiet street provides the private Entertainment Hideaway property the desert offers!

We had a wonderful stay. Bruce was very responsive in all of our communications leading up to the visit. It's an ideal location if you like being close to the mountains, close to downtown Palm Springs and in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood. Despite a few days of rain, the well laid out property, comfortable furnishings and well-stocked kitchen made for an excellent stay.

Home with great vibe in one of the best neighborhoods in Palm Springs.

The house has exceeded our expectations.Pool area is in fact better than it appears on the photos. I seriously consider to come back.

Great location with all the amenities one could need / want nestled in a quiet neighborhood but quick access to downtown and trails. Easy check in and property beat expectations both in terms of upkeep and overall space/amenities. Would recommend to both couples and larger parties!

Great location, plenty of space for a family, fun pool, great hot tub!

Our family of 4 had a nice stay, the kids were excited to have their own rooms and had the best time in the pool while we were happy to enjoy the hot tub. The kitchen was great, location was great. It could have been a little cleaner or felt less “lived/in” but overall it was a good stay and Bruce was responsive if I had any questions. Thanks, Bruce!

Top Notch Getaway Location

Wonderful place for our group of girlfriends to stay for a getaway weekend. All rooms are generously sized, the decor is spot-on Palm Springs. We lazed in the morning in the comfy chairs on the patio and relaxed in the pool in the afternoon. I heard “this place is so much better than the pictures” quite a few times. Such a wonderful spot!

A quick walk away from delicious coffee and pastries. A short drive away from downtown and beautiful mountain hikes. This house is well designed, decorated, and cared for. Our family enjoyed all of the beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces that it offers. Five stars.

Oasis!

The pool and house could not have been better! Perfect location. Kitchen is well stocked. Comfortable beds and fabulous mid century decor were icing on the cake. Covered patio allowed us to be outside even on the hottest days.

Great stay. Think Mad Men, and all that you could want to experience life in the mid century. Wonderful decor, stocked kitchen, lovely outside space in the quiet, walkable neighborhood of Twin Palms Estates. Close to favorite PS restaurants, golf, hiking, and cultural destinations. Superb host w/detailed instructions and communications. We'll definitely be back.

Lovely vintage Palm Springs home

Gorgeous home conveniently located in the heart of Palm Springs. Many nearby options for dining and groceries, and only a few minutes from the downtown Palm Springs area. Great outdoor living space whether you are looking to relax in the shade or take a dip in the pool. Home was well stocked with everything necessary to enjoy your stay. The only negative is that due to Plam Springs rental regulations, music cannot be played outside at this location, that was a bummer.

Fantastic stay

Super hip and great quiet neighborhood, close to good grocery and coffee! Jacuzzi and pool as shown, kitchen well stocked, very nice back yard, and the fire ring was the best! Also great: the multiple cool magazines and books; and comfortable beds. We'll be back! Highly recommend.

Preserved gem in an A+ location!

Just got back from a getaway with a friend to this gem of a house--we were able to walk to so many great bars/restaurants, but we almost didn't need to! This comfy house gave me probably the best night's sleep I've had in a good long time (seriously, the silence in the room thanks to the carpeting, the darkness thanks to the thick curtains, the best bed/pillow combo ever). To top it off, Bruce was beyond helpful and responsive whenever we had a minor question or query. Loved this place!

This was a great house

It was exactly as described and prettier than the pictures. Extremely comfortable for our small family group. We appreciated the quality dishware in the kitchen, in particular, but also the attractive design throughout the house.

Fabulous property with designer vibes

This house was the ideal Palm Springs retreat. The pool and spa are so convenient for outdoor enjoyment and the layout and decor are very authentic to classic desert vibes. Highly recommend a stay here!

After some post Christmas travel snafus (flight cancellation and poor communication from the airline), Bruce was easy to communicate with and responded very quickly. He was very accommodating and understanding. His house is in a great location and there were no issues. Thanks for a very relaxing and enjoyable stay!
