Stay 7 nights, get 25% off! The Raven's Nest provides a getaway like no other! If you are looking for a place to unplug and unwind, with all the amenities of a small, coastal town then this is the property for you. This is a secluded home, situated atop a hill in a valley of farmland just 8 minutes east of Seaside Oregon. It was just completely remodeled from top to bottom, with a cabin feel throughout. Exposed wood beams with tongue and grove pine ceilings, alder doors and wood-burning stove complement the rustic, authentic decor showcasing the pacific northwest. There are three bedrooms on the top floor, one being a bunk-room for the kids or young-at-heart adults! Also, a full bath completes the top floor. The main floor has all your living spaces where families can gather, drink, eat and be merry. The bathroom on this floor has a large, two-person jacuzzi tub to soak in. The bottom floor is a walk-out basement that has been situated as a one bedroom apartment. It has it's own private entrance, bedroom, full bath, kitchenette, sitting area and laundry area. It is connected to the rest of the house, but can be used as a more secluded area of the home, if need be. The home is attached to 4 acres of land, which you may enjoy fully! We welcome pets, but be aware that there are no fences to keep dogs in, or wild animals out.

Huge beautiful cabin. Has a apartment type area in the basement thats perfect for a little family to have a private area. Surrounds by beautiful woods. We enjoyed the visit from a few elk. Also has lots of parking
We stayed in the beautiful and spacious home for a week. Finding a home with enough space and beds for a group our size can be tricky. This lovely home gave us ample indoor and outdoor space for the younger kids to play, the teenagers to recluse and the adults to relax. Feeding a large group in the kitchen was easy, and we were able to dine all together at one table. Having 3 bathrooms made personal care easy and efficient. We loved staying in that house!!!
We needed a place to get away from the routine and yet maintain social distancing- this property was the best option! Located close yet 10-15 mins from the city center this provides an amazing, clean, well planned getaway. Our kids loved the house and so did we. This place is well stocked with utensils, soaps, towels, toiletries - you name it and Lacey has it. She is also very prompt in communications and details so we didn’t have any issues checking in or out!
Thanks a bunch! We loved your place.

Family gathering
Overall not a bad place to stay, worked really well for our family gathering. We were able to explore Astoria and seaside as the house was only 15ish minutes from each town. None of us had cellphone service and the WiFi was a bit spotty but there were plenty of things to keep us entertained. The only complaint we have is the house was not the cleanliness upon arrival, I reached out to the host and sent pictures of the issues and never received a message back.
We loved staying at Raven's Nest. We were a family party of 7 adults, a 15 year old, and an 18 month old. Originally we had planned for 2 more adults and with the configuration of the house and the make up of our group this would have been fine. The downstairs functions as a separate apartment with a shared bath. The couches (one pull out) are actually those featured in the photos as living room furniture. They are still very nice but have been replaced upstairs with a lovely gray leather set. It was tastefully decorated but still a friendly place for an inquisitive toddler. The many windows framed the outside-elk down below at the front, cows in the field in the distance out back. I have wonderful memories of my grandson searching for them as he pointed and practiced saying 'cow'. We enjoyed the deck too-furniture was comfortable and there were extra outdoor chairs available. Railing was not designed for young children. Spaces to cook and eat together were well designed and well supplied. Internet was adequate for those using wireless; my data worked fine for me. I had requested that the bedroom for one of our party members be especially well cleaned since this is a dog friendly home and he has severe allergies. I was assured it would be and he was comfortable throughout the home. The other two baths in the home are shared. The water pressure was adequate but not powerful. New coin free washer/dryer upstairs. Ten minute drive to Seaside on good roads. We'd happily return!
A short drive from the beach down beautiful windy roads through the woods. The property itself was incredible, the house was gorgeous and comfortable. Open concept main floor made a great gathering area for our whole family to hang out. Each bedroom had comfy beds and linens. The kitchen has everything you need. 3 bathrooms was great for our 11 guests. We didn’t realize there were two pull out beds, so we brought blow up mattresses for the kids. Kids played football and ran around the large property. The view from the windows alone is worth the stay.
We had an awesome experience in this gem in the woods! We stayed here with our closest friends and family for our elopement in Cannon Beach. It was big enough for hosting 10 people, and we had a lovely BBQ with everyone! The kitchen is fully stocked to accommodate many guests and everything was clean and just as beautiful as in the pictures. It’s quiet, with enough parking space and our dog absolutely loved the huge yard. Lacey was very friendly and helpful, and even made it possible for us to check in 2 hrs early!
Beautiful house. Spacious, private property. Super comfortable beds. Our 3 year old twins loved the bunk beds and large bathtub. But prepare yourself for virtually no wifi. Wonderful home overall.
Great location, close to Seaside. Lots of space in the home, loved the wood fireplace. Home was clean. It was cold when we arrived, but once we got the heat on it heated up quickly. Loved the big windows and views!
This beautiful home was a perfect place for our family of 8 plus a toddler to gather. The “studio apartment” in the lower level worked well for our son, daughter-in-law, and 2 year old grandson to have their own place. Quiet (except for a little road noise) and remote location, yet close to the hustle & bustle of Seaside and the beach. Communication with the owner was great.
The location of this home is just beautiful. We were fortunate to have gorgeous weather and took full advantage of the comfortable seating outside and the yard to explore in. The open layout was perfect for our group. Short drive into seaside (although twisty, so don’t get carsick!).

We had a great time staying here! The house was set up for us to stay comfortably and was perfect for what we needed. The house was spotless. There are many windows in the house to show the beautiful setting. The kitchen is set up for cooking, and we loved having the big dining room table to accomadate all seven of us for eating and playing games. The beds and couches are really comfortable. There were so many little details that helped make our stay so great! Communication with the host was excellent! We loved our time here and would love to come back!
Clean, hospitable place. Beautiful scenery, loved to listen to the frogs at night. All my kids had so much fun. Close to our daily adventures but still private.
Our group of 3 generations really enjoyed our time at this beautiful property. We were right in the middle of nature where we could see elk grazing in the distance, as well as a close-up showdown between an eagle, a hawk, and 3 vultures. (The eagle won, no surprise)
Everything was clean and well stocked, very comfortable. We had everything we needed to cook dinner every night.
The bedroom downstairs was its own mini apartment, fully stocked, and had its own entry. One note of warning to those with mobility issues or just unsteady on their feet, there are a couple of trip hazards in the house as the kitchen area is elevated by 2 steps, and there's a extra step at the bottom of the stairs to the in-law quarters that tripped my mom the first day.
Overall, a great property with seclusion and gorgeous views. Recommend 100%
Love this home! Its spacious and secluded. Very accommodating for a large family. Amazing views. Sat on the deck and listened to the cows talk to each other. My siblings and I will be renting this home again next time we are in town.
My husband and I live in Central Oregon with our 4 kids. We enjoy being outdoors, traveling and watching our kids play sports. We own a construction company and have a vacation rental in Redmond as well. We take a lot of pride in our homes that we share with others and try to set the standard high and go above and beyond for our guests.
Why they chose this property
This property is my childhood home, where I was born and raised. My father still owns it, but he became ill and needed to go into a care facility. Instead of selling the family home, my siblings and I decided to turn it into a short-term rental to help pay for his care and keep the home in my family at the same time. We all love this home and have a lot of fond memories in it and hope that guests thoroughly enjoy all it has to offer as well!
