Luana Kai D305 is a top floor, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo that sleeps up to 6 with a prime beachfront location. Situated in the premier front row so you can enjoy gorgeous panoramic ocean views and some of the most beautiful Maui sunsets as you sit on your private lanai. This beautifully redesigned condo is perfect for your next Maui Getaway! This fully air-conditioned unit offers floor-to-ceiling glass with sliding doors that open onto your private lanai. Dine al fresco while enjoying the stunning ocean views. The main living area has an open floor plan that boasts expansive high beam ceilings adding to the flow of air blowing in the wonderful ocean breezes. The modern furnishings add a beachy charm and pieces from artist Ed Lane solidify the Hawaiiana feel for a relaxing stay. Gather at your indoor dining table set for four with a bonus granite island sitting for two. The gourmet kitchen features high-end stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and is well equipped with a generous array of cooking and dining supplies for the chef of the family to cook your island-inspired meals in the full kitchen. At the end of each day, you can watch your favorite shows on the large flat-screen smart TV in the newly decorated living area and relax on the comfortable queen sleeper sofa with plenty of space to unwind.

The primary bedroom is the main feature of the upstairs loft area. Find a luxurious King bed and en suite bathroom with a granite vanity and a tub/shower combo in this bright and airy space. The guest bedroom downstairs offers two twin size beds, ceiling fan, and Smart TV. The guest bathroom features a granite vanity and walk-in shower. This condo stays cool via split AC and ceiling fans in the living area and each bedroom. For added convenience, there is a washer and dryer as well as complimentary internet with Wi-Fi, beach towels, beach chairs, and a cooler.

Luana Kai Resort has many amenities to enjoy with four free tennis and pickleball courts, free self-parking, a heated freshwater swimming pool, hot tub, two dry saunas, putting green, shuffleboard, and an abundance of lush tropical landscaping. In addition to the 2.5-mile long beach in front of Luana Kai, there are more than a dozen other sandy coves and beaches nearby, including Keawakapu, Kamaole I, II, III, and Charley Young. The condo is in the perfect location for beautiful sunsets in the evening and whale watching during the day in season. You do have to listen to the pickleball courts in the morning that are very busy but that did not bother us at all. The view is breathtaking! The pool area with hot tub was very clean and comfortable to hang out at with several gas grills to use and a whole kitchen available there to get as culinary as you want poolside!Very convenient to shopping, food trucks, excursions. Kihei is the perfect base to explore Maui from.

This unit was perfect for my families annual vacation to Maui. The view was amazing and you could watch the sunsets from the balcony. The AC was a nice touch for these Alaskans. The pool on the property was always clean and sparkling! We’ll definitely be back!

The unit was very good condition. The location and view from the lanai was amazing. The unit was well equipped with everything we needed. With such a great lanai I would have liked some higher quality outdoor furniture but this is a small concern. Property management was quick to check in on us and repaired one small issue quickly. Overall excellent and would recommend for your trip to Maui.

No place to go for a run and water was muddy due to storm

Property was okay. There is no place to go for a run because there are only certain areas with sidewalk in this area and the beach is too uneven. There was loud noise because of pickle ball taking place all day and night. Water was muddy from a recent storm, so we had to travel 30-minutes north to get clean beach.

Great Complex with outstanding Property Manager.

The property manager was fantastic to deal with. Upon entering the unit we noticed one of the upstairs AC units were not working properly. They had a tech come out the next day and research the issue. unfortunately it was not able to be fixed while we were staying. The Property Management team worked with us on a partial refund and added fans to make the stay comfortable. The complex is small and well taken care of with great access to the park and beaches. if the AC would have worked upstairs, it would have been 5 stars.

Convenient, clean, and comfortable

This was a great value and location for our week in Kihei and exploring Maui. The unit fit our family of 5 perfectly and met all of our expectations. Full size laundry helped us pack lightly. Kitchen had all we needed. A nice bonus was the scuba masks, coolers and chairs next to laundry. While noted in description just be aware pickleball is very popular and starts almost each morning at 8AM sharp. Public courts are just outside the balcony. However, we quickly were able to tune it out and focus on the sound of the birds and waves. This property is conveniently located to many other things we wanted to do and just a very short drive to several restaurants and stores. Would recommend staying here. Very clean and the welcome package on the kitchen island was very much appreciated after a long travel day. Thank you!

We also enjoyed watching the pickle ball games on the courts right outside. Kitchen was well stocked with plates, pots, pans, glasses,etc. Loved the pool area. Plenty of beach gear and beach towels provided. Even some basic snorkel gear. Furnishings were comfortable, though could use some updating. Our friends stayed in another unit from the same rental company down the hall, which had a much more clean and modern feel. The negative for us was the dryer was broke when we tried to use it. The management did respond timely and did offer laundry service. However, we packed light and laundry service had 24 hour turn around. We also only had enough bath towels for the 6 of us. Having them give us clean towels would have been wonderful. Overall, based on amount of space and location and despite the dryer situation, we would stay here again.

The kitchen was well appointed, had everything we needed. It’s on the top floor so gives you a perfect view of the ocean, and there’s a pickle ball court in the back! You can walk a mile or two north to Sugar Beach which has kayaking and paddle boarding. Or just stay home and hang out at the pool, the grounds are lovely, full of flowering trees. Ubers are plentiful, but if you have a rental car it will have more flexibility to see the island. Although there is a bus stop nearby as well!

So close to the ocean. We had coffee on our balcony in the morning watching the sun splash colors across the mountain during sunrise and we had a glass of wine watching the sunset in the evening. Kihei is centrally located on the island and we had no trouble driving around to see the other sights. If we had a choice between driving the road to Hana or waking up early for the sunrise on Haleakala, I would pick the sunrise personally. The best perk of this condo was air conditioning. Maui in September you really really really need AC. The condo was clean and tastefully decorated and we felt right at home. There were extra linens in the drawers and beach chairs and towels in the closet. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this particular condo in the future if we happen to travel back to Maui. Very Nice

Great views, location, and amenities. Having five beach chairs, beach towels, sunscreen, and things like laundry detergent already in the room is awesome. Only downside was the WiFi is pretty awful, and the AC can't quite keep up (was typically about 76f in the condo).
