Great location and well-equipped

The apartment is spacious and the kitchen is very well-equipped. The location is close to downtown Truckee, so it made it a great base to do activities in North Lake Tahoe. Overall, it made for a very comfortable and pleasant stay in the area.

Great Accommodation

The property was excellent and as advertised! We especially appreciated what was available in the kitchen as far as cooking supplies and spices to help us cook-in! The entire place was very clean and very comfortable for us. I would highly recommend this place for a family or group of friends to spend time in the Truckee area!

Great home with many bed options, comfortable couch, easy to use kitchen, nice outdoor views, reasonably priced. We felt overall it was nicer than the pics depicted! Happy to stay again!

Nice condo with convinient access to ski areas

This nice size condo is very conviniently located for a ski trip. It has a well-stocked kitchen and comfy living areas, with all the usual stuff you'd expect. The condo was clean and well-prepared. Perfect for relaxing after a skiing.

Great location and amenities

Condo is super close to many of the sights and activities in the area. Very roomy and super well stocked! It ended up just being the two of us, but the condo could easily accommodate a small group or family with kids. Lori, the owner was extremely responsive to questions, and friendly! The entire process was super easy and seamless. I would stay here again! Thanks!

Exceeded expectations!

Condo was very clean and much bigger than photos reflect and the layout is perfect for eating, talking, and playing one of their many board games. Kitchen is fully stocked, including expresso machine! Beds are very comfortable. Location is convenient- 15 minutes to Tahoe Donner XC skiing, Palisades, and Alpine. Also, close to downtown Truckee and Truckee River Legacy Trail which is snowplowed every day!

Felt like home

We loved this 3br, 2ba condo in the Boulders of Truckee. The living room and master bedroom overlook nature and we enjoyed watching the birds and the snowfall. It was so easy to buy groceries at the nearby market and cook our meals. The drive to Northstar Ski Resort was about 15-20 minutes so easy to access on the days we skied. We also enjoyed the property hot tub which felt really good after a day of ski. On a rainy day, we went to historic downtown Truckee for fun shopping and also drove to Kings Beach. We would stay here again.

Truckee Stay

I felt like I was stayjng at a family members house. I read alot of reviews before booking this place. It had a pool available at the complex for no additional fee, w/in walking distance. Well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels for the shower and pool. Games for the kids. Just a comfortable stay for my three kids and I. Theres no air but fans and opening up everything aired out nicely. Theres a deck. Also the reviews mentioned a train but my kids sleep with a white noise machine and it didtn bother me. Id come here again. Communication w owners was great. Overall a great stay

Would definitely stay here again

Cozy property close to I-80 and ski resorts. There's a great supermarket (Save Mart) and a pharmacy (CVS) that are walking distance as well as other restaurants and retail. The property manager was very responsive. There was a ton of snow while we stayed and the condo association plowed the road early and then another company came and snowblowed the driveways, too. With some 5 feet of snow over about 5 days, the additional snowblowing was really helpful. My only note of caution is that this unit is on the 3rd floor No problem for my family, but if stairs are difficult for you, then you should be aware. Overall, great experience and would gladly recommend this place.

Frustrating

When we got to the property we were unable to tell which condo it was. The place was dusty. The heat was on and we were unable to use the air due to it being a google app from the owners phone. The old chair on the deck is a sliver or broken bone waiting to happen. No other chairs available to enjoy the deck. We wanted to bar b q however the gas was left on in the grill and it was just about empty.... thank goodness the place did not burn down. It also states 2 king bed on the VRBO site, they are queen. We will not be going back or referring any one to this particular condo.

Nice condo

Nice location in Truckee. The kitchen was fully stocked. Plenty of amenities. Our only issue was the fire alarm beeping the whole time we were there. Enough parking for two cars. Be prepared to walk up several flights of stairs. May not be suitable for people with mobility issues.

Loved this rental.

Loved our stay here for my husbands birthday. We traveled as a family of 6 with our 4 boys aged 16-21. We had enough beds and plenty of space. I loved the back deck with just looks out on to the forest behind the houses. Yes the train goes by but it didn’t disturb our sleep. Cupboards are packed with games, and the kitchen is extremely well equipped even a kettle for us English families that need a cup of tea. I asked late Saturday night if there was any chance of a late checkout, no only did Lori reply straight away but she granted us the extra couple of hours to let the boys sleep in and me finish my book on the deck. Would definitely recommend this place.

Truckee Fun Time

A much better location that I anticipated. Within walking distance of a grocery store and several restaurants, including MacDonald's. The Village Pizzeria is awesome. If they delivered to Tucson, AZ, we would order their Stromboli pizza every day.

Great experience at this property. Everything was clean, comfortable, and very pleasant. Walking distance to shops and restaurants, and easy driving to Donner Peak. Access was simple and directions were clear.

Great weekend at Truckee

Very beautiful home and a great place to stay. We went to Boreal for skiing and it is only about 15 minutes away. The home is close to stores and restaurants. It had everything we needed, and we had a great family time. Lori was great and she responded to all our questions quickly. Will surely recommend this place and will come back next time.

Great place....4 stars

This is a really nice, newer condo in a very convenient location (near Truckee, near skiing at Palisades or Sugar Bowl and walkable to some local places to shop/eat). Great simple layout. There were 2 of us for a few days of skiing, but it would have been fine for my family of five for a long weekend. Appreciated that the condo was well stocked with condiments, utensils, plates, etc. Beds were very firm but ended up being very comfortable to sleep in. As others have said, be aware its a 3rd floor condo, so 2 flights of stairs to carry your stuff up. We enjoyed the nice views and increased privacy of 3rd floor, but others may not like going up and down stairs. Would have given 5 stars in review except for 2 things - driveway wasn't plowed when we arrived late at night after a couple of days of snow (and wasn't plowed over the next 2 days). It was only 6" of snow, but just meant we were tracking snow into the car and onto stairs, etc. and the lack of a few small things like a kitchen sponge. Just a hassle to have to go out and buy that kind of stuff. Overall I'd stay at the condo again and would recommend it highly.
