The nearest beaches are less than 30 minutes drive and both coasts (the Gulf of Taranto and the Otranto Canal, strait of the Adriatic Sea that communicates with the Ionian Sea).

Excellent stay in a wonderful little villa, perfect for our family of four. The property is newly renovated, with comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen, decent WiFi and much-appreciated air conditioning! Would not hesitate to recommend and we would love to stay again on a future visit to Salento.

EXCEPTIONAL

We spent a truly wonderful three weeks at Villa Salentina in Puglia. Christophe was a very helpful host, responding promptly to our small number of queries. The housekeeper was very responsive when we needed to ask her a couple of practical questions. The man who maintained the swimming pool did an outstanding job, coming several times a week and spending time ensuring that the pool was spotlessly clean and in excellent working order. The villa was precisely as described in the listing. The photographs in the listing did not quite manage to illustrate fully just what a truly special place it is. We had days lounging in the villa and in the pool, only going out for breakfast at Rosso e Nero or going out for late evening gelati at Dolce Arte, both in nearby Cutrofiano. We had days travelling about Salento, and even as far away as Valle D’Itria. We had superb gelati wherever we went. We were treated with great friendliness and kindness everywhere. If you want a little piece of paradise on earth, look no further than Villa Salentina. Many, many thanks, Christophe.

Schöne kleine Villa mit tollem Pool, leider auch mit vielen Kameras

Das Haus ist nicht besonders groß, aber sehr schön renoviert und auch stilvoll eingerichtet. Der eigenen Pool ist wirklich super und war einfach nur toll. Alle 2/3 Tage kommt jemand und reinigt den Pool. Als wir anreisten wurde vorher noch der Rasen frisch gemäht und der Pool gereinigt. Im Inneren war das Haus sehr sauber, einzig der Backofen war etwas dreckig - Angebranntes am Boden. Bei unserer Aufenthalt war der Toilettendeckel an einer Seite total lose, sodass man immer hin- und hergerutscht ist. War nicht so schön, gerade da es nur eine Toilette gibt. Das habe ich bei der Ansperchpartnerin vor Ort reklamiert, habe aber nur die kurze Antwort erhalten, dass sie das gesehen hat. Meine Frage, ob der Toilettendeckel repariert oder getauscht werden könnte, wurde einfach nicht beantwortet. Daher 2 Sterne Abzug bei der ansonsten guten Kommunikation. Was uns auch nicht so gut gefallen hat, waren die vielen Kameras. Alleine auf Pool und Garten sind 5 Kameras gerichtet, bei denen nicht nachvollziehbar ist, ob und wann sie filmen oder wer Zugriff auf die Aufzeichnungen hat. Also trotz Privat-Pool keine echte Privatsphäre. Unterm Strich war der Aufenthalt im Haus aber sehr schön.
