Private Hilltop Farmhouse in Wine Country with Llama, Jacuzzi & Amazing Views

Truly one of a kind, The Farmhouse is set on our 11.5 acre farm, at A Barn At The Quarry, on a scenic hilltop in Texas wine country. This charming, spacious and well appointed, house is ideal for relaxing family getaways, family reunions, holidays, club retreats, joint couples vacations and entertaining large groups of guests after a fun day of enjoying Fredericksburg's many attractions.

We have a super charming and very funny magical non-spitting llama named Lorenzo and 2 adorable mini-donkeys (Espresso & Latte) who roam our property freely. They love people and will be as excited to meet you as we hope you are to meet them. They'll definitely be stopping by to say hello during your stay and pose for fun selfies with your guests. Miss Cookie our 1000 lb Oreo cow will be in her 9 acre oasis and you're welcome to pop by to give her a pet, a treat and a hello. All of our animals can safely eat carrots and apples and you're welcome to bring your own to have extra goodies to feed them during your stay. We do offer extra treat bags as well. (* For the safety of our animals and yours pets are not allowed *)

Relax with loved ones outdoors on the spacious 2 tiered secluded back patio with covered 12 person dining area, fire pit, outdoor bar & grill, and jacuzzi hot tub, overlooking the beautiful hill country views that go on for miles and the endless starlit skies at night.

The Farmhouse has two master bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, two living rooms with large screen TVs, a fully equipped modern kitchen with high end appliances, Keurig coffee maker and fully stocked with everything you need to cook a home cooked meal including pots, pans, silverware, cutlery, cups, wine glasses, shot glasses, and dishes. Upstairs are two large bedrooms and a bathroom. Just off the main living room, down a hall is our 2nd private living room in La Casita which has a queen sized pull out couch, providing a maximum accommodations for 12 guests.

There are books, card and board games under the TV in the main living room for your family and friends to enjoy and outdoor games by the hot tub. Our outdoor gas grill is connected directly to our gas line. (The red gas valve underneath will be turned off when you get there. If you could please turn it back off when you're done we'd greatly appreciate it.)

You're always welcome to bring your own firewood, carrots and apples. We do offer firewood & Smore's packages, private cheffing, special gift deliveries, large outdoor table and projector rentals and extra animal treat bags all upon request. Every guests stay includes a complimentary bottle of wine and animal treat bag as a special thank you from us.

Right next to our property is Grapetown Vineyard & Bankersmith Bar & Restaurant which offer food, live music and safari tours to see the zebras, camels, baby alpacas, baby goats and many many more just minutes away. Check their calendar for upcoming polo matches, crab feeds, hot air balloon festivals, ghost tours, grape stomps and regular live entertainment just minutes away from the Farmhouse.

Our property is a beautiful 17 minute drive to downtown Fredericksburg where you'll enjoy the beautiful view of all the picturesque farms and wineries along the way with long horns, horses, donkeys, llamas, wild white tail and axis deer, armadillos, foxes and so many other sites and treasures. There are thousands of wild deer that are free throughout Hill Country and you're sure to see them grazing in fields by The Farmhouse and on your drive to town.
