Great little house a short walk from the Mayo Clinic. Also steps away from a nice park and co-op grocery store. Terry and her husband were fantastic hosts. If you’re coming for a Mayo visit and want to avoid the hotels, this is the place!

Mayo Clinic treatment

The property is lovely, very accommodating. The house is appointed with everything you need. Very close to Mayo Clinic & a nice park in a historic neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay. Beds are very comfortable.

Great place to stay while at Mayo

My son and I stayed at Denise’s cottage for three and a half weeks while we were at the Mayo Clinic. It was absolutely wonderful to be close to the hospital and to have the amenities of home. The house was immaculate and close to Soldiers Field (park) and downtown. We hope we’re done with Mayo, but this is where we’d stay if we needed to come back.

Blue House Stay

Fenced in backyard needed upkeep. Grass was very long in front yard and dogs had ticks on when came from front lawn.

Thank you for the feedback. I will take care of the fence right away. We do mow the grass often except when it rains often. At the time of your stay, it had quite a bit and we had to wait for the rain to pause. We have never had an issue before.

Perfect spot for Mayo patient

"Little Blue" is a charming 100-year-old house that worked out great for me while at the Mayo for a stem cell transplant. The kitchen is well-equipped with quality appliances, cookware, dishes, etc. It was great to have a second powder room in the basement. The furniture is comfortable and the desk area is perfect if one is working remotely. The lighting in each bedroom includes both an overhead fixture and lamps. You will find yourself "walking downhill" in several of the rooms due to the age of the house! Part of the charm. Terry was very responsive when I had a couple questions. I highly recommend this property.
