About this property

House in the trees with City View

(This home is HC accessible to enter but is not a HC accessible home. It is HC friendly with spaced furniture and wide doors but that is the extent) Welcome to Haakon House, known to those that have stayed as "The Healing House"! Located in a quiet cul-de-sac near the hustle and bustle of downtown, minutes away from your meetings and/or appointments. Most commutes are between 5-10 minutes including Mayo. Nice neighbors, safe area, nature all around including a little trail through the trees. The wild life is very entertaining and we welcome pictures from your stay for the website! Great for bird watching, watching the deer roam or the chipmunks play. Hot Air Balloons lift off from down the hill quite often in the summer. The paved but steep trail behind the house is great for heading out for a walk or bike ride.
Nearby parks, bike trails, gas stations, shops, grocery stores & restaurants.

🛏️ Bedding/Laundry/Kitchen: Put ALL used bedding at foot of beds, towels in washer with door open, and run dishwasher or wash dirty dishes before leaving. Throw away used/opened/perishable food.
🧹 Clean-Up & Courtesy: Clean up spills, bathroom messes, grill/firepit (if used), pick up dog waste, take out trash/recycling for early Monday, and report damage or stains for scheduled repairs.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
-Return the house to its original tidiness. -Do not leave any food out that will attract uninvited pests. -Clean kitchen after use.
-Report damaged items, including damage from kiddos and pets. -Do not engage in illegal activities anywhere on the property including internet.
-Remove your shoes. -Pile bedding at the end of the bed on the floor. -Put towels in washing machine with door open. -Immediately clean up after pets.
