My favourite thing about Villa Ronda was the short distance to the sea. You can swim/snorkel right at the bottom of the steps that lead down from just outside the gate. The water is clear and there are loads of fish. To the right, it's a short walk over the stones to get to sand (Playa Puerto Blanco). To the left it's about 30 minutes walk over rocks and sand to the Arenal-Bol promenade. This route avoids the hills but is not really quicker than walking by road. We used taxis when going out to eat in the evenings.The nearest shop is 800m away. Bigger supermarkets are further. If you have a car, there's covered parking at the lowest level and a gate into the villa from there. This was good for taking the shopping bags from car to kitchen without negotiating all the steps.The three levels of the villa are connected by outdoor steps. The doors into each level don't open from the outside without the key so you need to be careful not to lock yourself out by coming out and closing the door when the key is inside!The beds were comfortable, all bedrooms had AC and everything was clean. It was great to have two washing machines and three fridges!Self check-in was fine. We expected a folder with useful information but couldn't find one. Costa CarpeDiem responded quickly to any enquiries made through Vrbo.Note that the ensuite in the room with 4 beds has no door, just a curtain.

Casa Ronda

We hebben de verjaardag van opa gevierd 85 jaar geworden! Fantastisch huis en omgeving. Nog geen 100 meter en je plonst in zee. De faciliteiten waren top en de flexibiliteit van Costa carpe diem eveneens! Een aanrader. We waren met 15 en hebben genoten!
