Pool home in tranquil Sanibel Bayou

Stilt home with very open floor plan and casual beachy decor where you can hear the surf break from the front porch. Salt water swimming pool. Lani, and dock that overlooks the bayou for nature watching. Located at the quieter end of Sanibel with a 2 minute bike ride or short walk to beautiful Bowmans Beach State Park. Close to Ding Darling Nature Preserve, Captiva Island, Blind Pass park and Turner Beach. Recreation center and school are just 5 minutes away. Easy access to kayaking and fishing locations.
It is a 10 minute drive into the main town where you can eat at one of Sanibel's amazing restaurant and shop at a variety of unique shops . A 2 minute drive or short bike ride so you can experience the good food and attractions of Captiva. Pets are negotiabe so please contact me first. No smoking.

Another awesome family vacation on Sanibel

We've been vacationing on Sanibel for 25 years, and we were grateful to find something available so soon after Hurricane Ian. This was our first stay on the western end of the island, which gave us the opportunity to bike to places we wouldn't normally explore on a bike, which was fun. The home was located in a very quiet neighborhood. It had a spacious, open design with plenty of room for our family of 5. The screened in pool provided hours of fun for our children and there was convenient access to Bowman's Beach, Blind Pass, Ding Darling, Crow, the Shell Museum, and Captiva. The owner was always very responsive to our questions, and we greatly appreciated being able to have our pets (1 cat and 1 dog) with us on vacation. We cook a lot when we are on vacation, so it would have been nice to have a dishwasher; and the DVD player was missing, but beyond that the home was exactly as described and we enjoyed our stay. Thanks!
