Great location, great condo
The condo had a great layout, and location. So close to 5th avenue but on the quiet end in a neighborhood. It did have dogs barking as everyone there has a dog or two! It was a nice 10 min walk from the beach and had a great Sunday market for blocks right outside the bldg door! The rooftop was beautiful with a great view but not usable, due to wind, so no umbrella could be set up. Curtains on one of the gazebo's over the chairs would solve that. Gabo, the maintenance guy, was great and so nice. The condo lacked basic necessities to help maintain cleanliness and we were only given one dish cloth and one roll of toilet paper for each bathroom. It was great to order 40 litre jugs of water prior to arrival and have them delivered but there wasn't even a jug to pour water in. The top of the garbage can was missing so we put food scraps in the freezer to avoid smell and flies and there were no cloths to clean water off the floor, no broom (to sweep up sand from the beach, or a broken jar of pesto when cooking). We had to wet the precious toilet paper to pick up shards of glass. Sybil (prop. manager) was friendly and polite but when asked for anything her reply was basically..each owner decides what goes in their unit and no offer to pass it on. I felt dismissed. Her comment about the 'ugly' air conditioner guys coming in for maintenance was rude. Had no reply for 7 hrs day before arrival so called VRBO to get confirmation. The owner told me she should've replied. She denied it.
