Welcome to our cozy and equipped villa at Lake Tahoe! In the winter, the Skier Express gondola provides easy access to Heavenly Mountain’s Stagecoach Chairlift. During the summer, world-famous hiking and biking trails are only a few minutes from the front door, and just down the hill are Lake Tahoe’s beautiful beaches, boating, paddle boarding, and kayaking! There is something for everyone here, and our space offers a quiet escape after a day outside.

Enjoy the 1,000 sq.ft. suite here. The suite includes:

• 1st Bedroom: 1 King Bed
• 2nd Bedroom: 1 King Bed
• Living Area: Queen sleeper sofa for extra guests. Gas fireplace, flat-screen TV with DVD player. Mini Fridge, microwave, and coffee maker in-suite.
• Kitchen: Microwave oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, full-sized oven, dishes, utensils, and cooking necessities. Dining table with seating.

Additional amenities and services are available at the Tahoe Ridge Resort including:

• Year-round indoor and outdoor pool access.
• Fitness centre, tennis courts, (indoor/outdoor) basketball nets, racquetball court, badminton court, group fitness classes, and more!
• 3 on-site restaurants

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
Fees Upon Arrival

• Damage deposit: Fully-refundable damage deposit: $115 USD.
• Resort Fee: A nightly resort fee of $39 is required and includes parking, access to indoor and outdoor pools, sauna, hot tub, on-property activities, indoor courts, and in-room DVDs with players.
• Room taxes and Douglas County tax apply and typically total $5 or more per night.

• Dive into the pools on-site - the outdoor pool is seasonal
• Mini golf is only open during the summer season.
• Please note that there is no air-conditioning
• At check-in, you will receive a unit with the same specs as the images shown. However, the actual decor, view, and furniture layout may differ. If you have a specific request, please inform our team upon booking and we will be happy to add a request to your reservation.
• Ski rentals are not available on-site, but guests are provided a Heavenly Coupon to avail discounted rates for rentals at Heavenly Mountain. The guest will scan a QR code from the coupon to book online.

Wonderful stay

One suggestion is to tell us more on how to reach front desk for check-in process. And add more EV chargers in all stay buildings.

Great place to stay in the mountains! Clean and nice. The jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom was a nice surprise and it was nice that the extra room had its kitchenette and bathroom!

Perfect spot for family and powder

The quiet property is a short distance from Haevenly Stagecoach lift. Ez In/out by foot or shuttle. It is perfect distance up the ridge from the low lands, very close to a bar or convenience store. We enjoyed family time with ages infant to 50+, with side-side rooms, cooking and eating together, playing, some working, enjoyed the view, the bright rooms, the balcony, and the excellent amenities, including hot tub, sauna, well equipped kitchen and laundry in suite. Management was very responsive to requests and prompt to act. Instructions were clear. Covered garage was a plus for the 7+ inches of snowfall in 24h.

Convenient, but not as advertised

This particular property was not as advertised. The location is not ski-in/ski-out. The fireplace was broken, the doors were stuck, and the dryer was so loud we couldn’t use it. Not located near the “skier express” gondola, had to take a shuttle to the lift. Hot tub was not clean. Staff kind and helpful, but not enough to make up for the let downs.

Great location

The property was as advertised, great location for skiing. Our hot water heater was broken and we got moved to another room. The only gripe I have is with VRBO and their website. When trying to book this reservation the website kept giving an error message saying to try again. I did four times and with two properties. Then I received confirmation emails for all the reservations. Homeaway was very prompt in refunding , but the other property had an 80% return policy. I called VRBO and their rep said since it wasn’t my fault they would refund 100%. After two conversations and an emails showing credit card statements I still haven’t received the refunds

Misleading Posting, but it was okay.

We thought we'd be staying at some nice resort judging from the VRBO listing. However, to say we were a little disappointed when arriving to what seemed like a step above a motel room would be a gross understatement. The place is very old, not sound-proof at all, and instead of a suite or nice hotel room it seems more motel-ish. The only perk of this place is that .it's right next to the ski resort. However, I simply do not understand why this place was so expensive, other than the location. The check-in process was antiquated and required us to go to the main clubhouse - which was very far from the room - the next morning to check in. There were no clear instructions on where the clubhouse was, either, so it took us a long time to find it. In all, it was just okay. It wasn't super clean (dirty plates and cups) the place smelled weird, but it served the bare minimum of it's purpose - lodging. I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here because of it's expensive rates for such a dismal spot.

Great hotel

We stayed at this hotel and had a blast. We stayed 1 night for a girls trip (6 ladies, all family) and ended up assigned to the conjoined rooms located at the top floor (7500s) in the Ridge Pointe building. Driving from the main lobby building to the Ridge Pointe wasn't too hard and the receptionist gave good directions and map. Rooms were clean, had towels, hygiene products, etc. like you'd expect. The main suite was big, had its own bedroom, kitchen, dining area, and very modern. I liked the fact that the laundry is in the conjoined rooms entryway so both rooms can shared the laundry room (laundry detergent was provided but no fabric sheet which is not a big deal). Each room had a king size bed, can easily fit 3 average size adults, and each room had it's own sofa bed. We had breakfast at The Bistro. It's not too big and menu selections were limited but worked for us. The Bistro staff and receptionist were friendly. The spa, sauna and indoor pool were available in each building, unfortunately we didn't take advantage of them and the free shuttle to/from Bally's. Again, overall stay was pleasant, good mountain view, only 10-15 minutes drive to the casinos depending on your traffic up/down the mountain. Definitely will stay here again if we come back to South Lake Tahoe!
