Beautiful property with wonderful facilities. Our family of 11 really enjoyed our stay in this lovely villa. Car was a must for shopping etc but we used taxi’s occasionally for outings. Communication was 5 star and instructions were clear.

We stayed here as a group of friends and absolutely loved it. The villa was incredibly well equipped — it had everything we needed and more. The pools were amazing and became the highlight of our stay.The location was great too — quiet and relaxing, but still only a 10–15 euro taxi ride into old Lagos, where all the restaurants and nightlife are.Overall, it was the perfect spot for a group holiday. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

Incredible Property!

This house is fabulous!! Plenty of large spacious rooms, all with en suite bathrooms. The grounds are incredible as are the outdoor amenities (pools, grills, seating). It was such an incredible experience for a week with a large family.

The perfect villa!

A week didn’t feel long enough in this villa! Such a perfect place to unwind with friends close by the main towns of Lagos & Luz. Highly recommend booking this accommodation for a holiday in the Algarve!

Superb villa which is very spacious, clean and very well maintained to a high quality. With a partying 11 across 3 generation we didn’t feel on top of each other. The kids throughly enjoyed the pools (all three), as well as the large garden. Good amount of pool toys and garden games all in the pool store room which also has externally accessible toilet and shower which means no dripping children walking in the house. Really well stocked kitchen with all the utensils/equipment you could want and vast amounts of plated, bowls and glasses. Fantastic large BBQ outside (could benefit from extract fan). Nice welcome pack and all the residual condiments left by previous visitors a nice touch rather than before disposed. Mid week change of towels was more of a mini clean including mopping of all floors (great team of 4 completed in just under an hour). Great communication from the owner Melanie regarding the booking and with some great local information and recommendation as part of the checking process. Would highly recommend, very quite location, great accommodation and wonderful views out to the coast.

Outstanding villa in all respects.

We have just had our 3rd consecutive holiday in this beautiful villa,and cannot review it highly enough. Maintained and equipped to the highest standard.Lovely pools, gardens and outstanding outdoor kitchen.Lots of things nearby for all age groups!Wakeboarding, Padel tennis,a lovely little Zoo and of course the gorgeous beach and promenade at Luz.We just love it!Very well deserving of all the five star reviews.

A truly lovely villa.Beautifully designed and equipped with everything you could possibly need! Stunning views over the countryside, and of the sea in the distance. Very spacious but also extremely sociable. We’ve had a wonderful holiday and would return in a heartbeat! Very well deserving of a five star review!

This property was the best Villa we have stayed in. Incredible outside area with loads of outdoor seating and dining space. The kitchen had everything we could have asked for and it was easy to cater for our party of ten. The listing and photos don't do it justice. Thanks for a wondwrful stay.

We recently enjoyed a wonderful holiday in this beautiful villa. Everything had been thought of, beautifully designed, great comfy beds! My best bit was waking early and gazing at the view from the master bed. Pool was great fun. We have been looking for somewhere wonderful to rent in their area and have always been disappointed- this time we really couldn’t have asked for more lovely cleaners too! Thank You!

Beautiful villa.

Our family have just completed our second consecutive family holiday here. Ranging in age between 1 and 80, everyone had a wonderful time. A beautiful villa, equipped and maintained to a very high standard. Lots of activities and places to visit, all within a short drive.As it appears in the photos! Amazing property

We stayed as a family group of 11 ranging in age from 3 years old to 76! Each of the age groups really enjoyed our week in different ways. The kids and younger adults made extensive use of the 3 pools, from playing to serious exercising. The other facilities including the gym, basketball hoop and table tennis were also used frequently. The house is the best equipped one we have ever stayed in with the range of facilities from barbecue to drinks coolers to cooking equipment exceptional. Probably best of all was the vast amount of space in the house which meant we were all able to enjoy our stay without being on top of one another - a bonus which allowed for quiet time as well as family oriented time. Exceptional!

The BEST family holiday

We had the most AMAZING family holiday here. 13 of us in total, slept wonderfully. The villa itself was perfect. The villa had everything and more that we needed. It was self catering at the highest level. There was space for everyone to be together and places to relax away from the crowd. The three swimming pools were the highlight for the children, endless hours of fun. The outdoor kitchen provided a great space to prepare and eat together. We didn’t want to leave! The villa was cleaned to the highest standard, mid week cleaning of the villa and pool made the stay very comfortable. The villa was in a great location, close to Luz and Lagos. Melanie was a wonderful host, the attention to detail was second to none the extra touches of snacks on arrival, Epsom salts for the bath, adapters in every room etc. We were sad to leave, thanks for a wonderful stay. I’d highly recommend you this villa to anyone, it was incredible!

A private, spacious home with spectacular views of the Algarve and a top notch owner!

We've returned in 2025 to repeat the holiday of a lifetime! It's a wonderful, private setting perched on a hill overlooking the town of Lagos, natural hills and valleys, and of course the sea! My wife and daughter love the interior which has many rooms ranging from the spectacular master bedroom (with views that will astound) to several apartment-like wings with kitchenette, playrooms and bedrooms. The main areas include a Living Room and Kitchen with huge glass walls which open wide to bring the beauty of the region right into your gathering place. The eye candy of the house is the outdoor, cascading pools which were wonderfully heated providing a private setting to swim, sun bathe, or just marvel at the views of Algarve.The owner has finished the house with beautiful artwork, and I noticed that much of the outdoor furniture has been newly added, making it a continuously improving vacation spot! Finally, we brought a new family member along this holiday, our 7 month old granddaughter. The owner did a great job of providing a huge play pen/area, high chair and crib. The layout of the house provided quiet rooms for naps, good for babies and grandpas.You will be delighted with this vacation spot, perfect house, setting and region!

Stunning!

This is a wonderful, large villa with superb pools and lovely gardens. The facilities are excellent and it's within 10-15 minutes drive of whatever you might need. The very-responsive owner went above and beyond to get us extra equipment for two babies and a beautiful, handmade birthday cake for Woody, who turned 3 on our first day there. The management company were equally brilliant. A floor plan on the site would be very useful, although it worked perfectly for us (two little families, a couple and Nana). On the ground floor, there is a separate one bed flat with outdoor sitting, kitchen/living and one other ensuite bedroom (twin), as well as the kitchen, utility and living/dining area. On the first level, there are two large ensuite bedrooms - one with the only bath. At the top there are two double bedrooms with balconies and ensuite bathrooms, a sitting/games room and a room with three single beds and a trundle bed. There are also pool toys, beach umbrellas, buckets and spades and games in the store room, by the outside loo. Pool towels are provided. There is loads of parking. The outdoor kitchen was great! I couldn't be more delighted. I'm sad to be home tonight. We all want to come back next year!

Beautiful villa

From the moment we booked villa Quinta Dos Raposos up until actually arriving at the villa, our host Melanie was fantastic, sending lots of useful information about the villa and surrounding areas. Upon arrival there was a lovely welcome pack, very much appreciated. The villa is outstanding, spotlessly clean inside and out. Bedrooms and bathrooms fantastic, complimentary toiletries, large soft towels and very comfortable beds. Attention to detail throughout the villa goes above and beyond. The kitchen is fully equipped with ever You could possibly need, plenty of storage. Lots of different areas inside and out to relax. There were eleven of us, 8 adults and three children, plenty of places to spend together or have time to yourself. The swimming pools are fantastic, we all made very good use of them. Great views of the countryside and the ocean. We sorted out an airport transfer to get us all to the villa and then hired a small car (for supermarket runs) through Luz cars, which was delivered to the villa on the day we arrived, so much easier than sorting out a hire car at the airport. It is so easy to order an Uber taxi, which are very reasonable. We also used Manuel F Camacho Duarte taxi service, excellent service. We have left their card in the villa and highly recommend them. We visited Lagos and Praia DaLuz many times throughout our stay, the beaches are fantastic and an abundance of great cafes and restaurants. A lovely family holiday. Thank you Melanie

Second stay at this wonderful home

We first stayed at the property 5 years ago and have wanted to return but the pandemic and extensive renovations to the house delayed our plans. We travelled as a family group of 11 which was 8 adults and 3 children. Ages ranged from 63 to 1 year old. The house was perfect for all of us and we had plenty of space to relax. The house is well equipped with a purpose built gym , beautiful functional kitchen and more than enough tableware , kitchen gadgets etc. We made use of the large gas barbecue and on the nights we didn't want to cook and on Melanie's recommendation used Ubereats We also arranged for someone to cook for us one night and she was very impressed with the villa and the kitchen in particular. We made great use of both the lap pool and the larger pool both of which were suitable for the younger members of our party. The garden area provided enough space for badminton, football and a nice area for the toddlers to run around. There is no need really to leave the villa but we did find that apart from the small car that we mainly used for supermarket runs the best way to get around and explore Lagos was to use Uber taxis which are very reasonable. All the bedrooms and showers are of high hotel quality and everyone felt that they had a lovely bedroom. Melanie's communication beforehand was excellent. We feel very fortunate to have stayed in this extraordinary villa and made some very special memories.

Wonderful villa

We’ve just returned from a wonderful week in your villa and wow, it completely blew us away! What a fantastic place - the bedrooms were all amazing and spacious, the kitchen well equipped and the pool was probably the best we’ve seen (we’ve had many villa holidays!). The location was perfect - very quiet and the views were fabulous. We’ve visited Lagos for many years now and we wouldn’t hesitate to come back to your villa in the future. Old and young family holiday

I’ve been lucky enough to stay in many villas and this has to be one of the best. Beautifully designed and decorated and the outside is perfect for a large group who want to spread around, especially being spoilt for choice on the pools. Something that hasn’t been mentioned is the top pool for the elderly/less mobile. We managed to get my father (87) in a pool for the first time in years, it was wonderful. Melanie couldn’t have been more helpful with information and help pre holiday, which helped me immensely. Amazing villa, view. So close to Lagos we just ubered everywhere. Thoroughly recommend
