Looking for breezy, sun washed mornings? For unstructured, unhurried afternoons? Come escape to our quiet retreat... where simplicity and comfort are everything, and everything is simply beautiful!

Our charming oceanfront beach cottage is located on a quiet private street in the tranquil seaside community of Ormond by the Sea. Just 25 paces from door to sand, the cottage is set up to satisfy all your needs for total relaxation. Everything you need for enjoying time on the beach is provided, from chairs and umbrellas to towels and beach toys - all you really need to bring is your swimsuit! A large outdoor shower also makes it easy to leave all the sand and lotion outdoors before heading back into the cottage. Looking for activities? Golfing, fishing, kayaking, biking, paddle boarding, surf lessons and sailing are all nearby. One mile north is beautiful Bicentennial Park offering tennis & pickleball courts, outdoor racquetball and two large and well-groomed dog parks. Daytona Beach and the International Speedway are only five miles away, and depending on the time of year, you may even be able to catch a loggerhead turtle laying a nest or a space shuttle launch!

Dining in or out is easy with a large grocery, donut shop, small shops and many quaint restaurants only a short walk away. The kitchen is also fully furnished for any dining experience... from crystal and candles to paper and plastic! Whether you choose the dining room with a beautiful picture window overlooking the ocean, the ocean-side porch for an outdoor bbq seared on the Blackstone grill, or the beach itself, your meal will be enhanced by unspoiled ocean views and sounds.

As the day ends, enjoy a beautiful sunset walk on the beach or a beverage ocean side. Daytona nightlife offers all sorts of entertainment, or if you're in the mood for something quiet, fluff up some feather pillows, grab a quilt and settle down for a relaxing evening with our 60" Samsung Frame TV. At nights end, let the rhythm of ocean waves lull you to a peaceful nights sleep! We truly do offer you the perfect vacation getaway. Uncrowded. Unspoiled. Unforgettable!!!

The location is safe and excellent. Close to the beach without having any roads to cross. The location is beautiful and you can see the ocean and hear the waves. The biggest issue was that we had to leave and go back home. The host Trish was very helpful and great to deal with. Family friendly area the only thing you may hear strictly being outside at night might be loud people from the bar across the street but that is not the host's fault but still quiet relaxed area with amazing views and sounds. Other than normal things the place was very clean. Not infested with any bugs that one would complain .about so very controlled. For our family it was amazing experience.

Truly a darling and charming cottage by the sea. I loved the beachy decor and that everything you could possibly need was here. All of the updates are super nice, the kitchen is huge and so pretty! The view is amazing and you get to see all the colors and moods of the ever changing Atlantic Ocean. Ormond beach has such a relaxing beach town vibe just what we needed. 5 stars all the way! Can't wait to book again!

Wow what an amazing view to wake up to!! This place was as described. It had everything we needed and more from beach toys to spices in the cabinets. I highly recommend this place and we look forward to returning when we are back in the area!!

The ocean was a 100 stepsFrom our cottage. It was very neat and clean. It had a beautiful view. The location was awesome and the beach access was perfect. It was like we had our own private beach. Everything that could have been needed was available from beach supplies, towels, beach chairs , and umbrellas. Anything that you might need was available. It was perfect for my husband and our Goldendoodle. Truly felt at home and loved it.

The host was always so helpful before and on arrival. Access to this awesome cottage very easy. Very clean and decorated well. It was stocked with absolutely everything you could need. Our little fur baby enjoyed herself as well. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Many walks on the beach.Peaceful and quite area. We will definitely return.

Beautiful cottage and the location is right at the beach! We love the secluded private drive and quiet neighbors. This is my family’s go to beach vacation spot that we’ve stayed at a few times and bring our pups. Trish the host is very easy to communicate with and is always a pleasure to reach out too. Highly recommend this charming place!

Hello! I am passionate wife and mom of 5 amazing kids. My husband and I acquired this beach cottage when we were expecting our third child way back in 2001, and this became our family getaway for reconnecting and creating wonderful memories together throughout the years! We consider it a privilege to be able to share this same experience with others!

Why they chose this property

Our cottage is set up beautifully for families and guests to be able to live and relax in! We have intentionally decorated and stocked it as a cozy and welcoming home rather than as a 'rental'. Everything from quilts, games and feather pillows in the family room; spices and condiments in the kitchen; and beach umbrellas, chairs, towels, shovels and toys in the garage are provided so you can spend your vacation time enjoying the beach and not out shopping for basics!
One of my favorite features of the cottage is the private hot water shower around back! Our family uses this shower almost exclusively when we get to visit - we simply hang clean towels outside before heading to the beach, and then everyone showers here before entering the cottage through the side garage door. It is such an easy way to keep sand and sun tan lotion outside!
Another favorite feature is the incredible view of the ocean from the dining room which can be seen from all areas of the house( except the bedrooms.). I love being able to enjoy the beauty of the beach even when I am inside making dinner or simply enjoying some air conditioning!

What makes this property unique

The cottage is located on one of the very few remaining private streets right off of A1A and right onto the beach! That's right -there are NO roads to cross! Rather, simply walk out the door and in less than 25 paces, you are on the beach! We are also blessed that our little street is simply beautiful! All of the 8 cottages on the street have beautiful plush green yards and landscaping ~ It simply adds to the warmth and charm of the entire atmosphere!
