This 5 bedroom, Colonial has a Granite/ Quartz Kitchen, 2 Full Bathrooms, Central A/C, 5 fully furnished Queen Bedrooms with Smart TV's, a large deck w/gas grill plus a private outdoor shower all just steps from the beach. This is what you have been looking for!

Located in a great neighborhood just 1200 feet from Scarborough Beach with Hot & Cold Showers, 75 Picnic Tables (North & South), Large Paved Parking Lot, Concrete Boardwalk with Gazebos and Observation Tower, grassy play area, Lifeguard on duty 9:00 am to 6:00 pm(seasonally). This is one of Rhode Island’s most popular beaches.

Less than 5 minutes to grocery store, local restaurants, shopping and family activities. 4 miles from Narragansett Town Beach, 2.5 miles from Roger Wheeler Beach and 3 miles from the Block Island Ferry, this home is in the middle of it all!

Family vacation at Scarborough beach

We loved this property! It was clean, air conditioned, and had plenty of room for a family of 8. All beach supplies were included, upper and lower deck were perfect for relaxing, and the distance to the beach manageable for even our 3 and 5 year olds! This was our first time in this area, and there was so much to do and explore, as well as great places for meals and of course ice cream. Hope to visit again!

Great stay

We actually stayed at another property of Gregg’s last year and ended up here this year. Last year was great and so was this year. The house is well stocked with essentials, clean and amazing location to Scarborough Beach. The shed has everything you need for a beach trip right down to a cart, chairs and beach toys. I had a question that was quickly answered. Everything about the stay was top notch!

The house was great. As clean as you’d expect a beach house to be with some residual sand leftover. We had some issues with the hot water but the owner was very responsive and sent maintenance immediately. Overall a great stay.

Summer Fun

This is the second time my extended family stayed at the Scarborough House. The house is great- we loved grilling and having meals on the deck. The location is perfect- an easy walk to the beach. We could all come and go as we wished!! Gregg is a great host- he always responded quickly when I had a question!

Great Family FUN

Location was amazing!! Beautiful and quiet neighborhood. Walking distance to the beach was the BEST part according to our adult children with little ones! Suggestion: Outdoor Shower needs some type of pallet, flat stone or something outside the shower vs stepping in mud. Our family had an amazing week! Thank YOU!!

Absolutely awesome

The house was identical to the listing. Simple walk to the beach, all amenities were wonderful and this house is spacious. We had 12 people overnight and we were not crammed into each other. My grandson (age 6) loved the outdoor shower as it had hot water which made for a nice shower. Actually all except 2 of us used the outdoor shower daily. Thanks

Although it was a very nice home and a great location, we had an unfortunate occurrance. The central air died immediately after we checked in. The owner was very responsive and got us window ac units on a saturday night. The ac unit was completely replace 2 days later. I cannot emphasize ebough how great the location was.

Green Brier house

We were in Narragansett for a wedding and rented this house for a week with our daughters, sons-in-law, and three babies (6 adults, 2 babies, and a toddler). Pros: The location is great and we had adequate space. The shed was nicely stocked with beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, and beach toys. The upper deck is nice with a grill, table, umbrella, and plenty of seating, there is plenty of parking. Cons: The house was more dated than we expected. I don't think I would call in "modern" as it says in the listing; no garbage disoposal, very old washing machine that doesn't spin clothes very well, inconsistent hot water heater, laundry room is damp and musty with water on the floor, many of the screens don't fit in the windows so if you keep windows open there will be bugs in the house, and there's a very odd built-in dining table made of kitchen cabinetry. Some kitchen items that are lacking: no oven mitts or hot pads, two dish towels is not enough, little to no counter space, refrigerator door opens toward the living room and not the kitchen, there's no pantry, vacuum, or swiffer to keep the house clean during your stay. This house would be good for a group of people who will eat most of their meals out but not great if you're planning on cooking meals at home.

I am very sorry that you did not find this property to your liking. We are 1/4 mile to the beach and most people spend their time at the beach not at the property. Imperfect, but would stay again

I’ll begin by saying that we were their first renters of the season, so I understand there are certain kinks to be worked out. However, there were a few issues I feel need to be addressed. We arrived just before our 3PM check-in time and were met by two maintenance employees still working on the house. They told us the house wasn’t quite ready yet, so we just headed straight for the beach. We came back around 4:30 and they were still there preparing the house. At that point we began to unload our car while they worked. They finally finished around 5PM. The next morning we noticed that both of the showers had problems, so we messaged the owner (around 10AM). By 4:30PM we still hadn’t heard back, so we decided to call. He put us in contact with his maintenance guy, who explained the “trick” to make them work (the downstairs shower shut off every few minutes and you had to twist a knob on the shower head to reset it, the upstairs shower wouldn’t work unless you found the “sweet spot” between shower mode and bath mode). We were also left with only one nearly empty propane tank for the grill. After we called they dropped off a full one a few hours later. Other than the issues above the house and the area were really wonderful. Contrary to the photos there are 5 queen beds in 5 bedrooms (one of the photos shows twins). There really isn’t much yard, but we easily parked 5 cars in the driveway. Beach was only a three minute walk away. Everything in the house was nice and new. TV’s in each bedroom and in the living room. Despite the small issues we had, I’d highly recommend this property and would consider staying here again next summer.

Amazing location!

This house was a great find for our family - being able to walk to the beach was crucial since the Scarborough South parking lot closed on weekdays due to staffing. Extremely clean and exactly as pictured. We ate dinner on the porch every evening it was definitely the highlight of the home along with central AC. The neighborhood was very walking & stroller friendly. If you are planning on doing some cooking, the kitchen space is tight so plan ahead on what you’ll need.

Great stay second year in a row

Thanks for a great week in Narragansett! We stayed here last year and liked it so much we booked it again. 4 adults and 5 kids. Plenty of room. Tons of beach chairs and toys in the shed. Another Great Trip

We had a wonderful stay in Narragansett. The home we stayed in was our second stay in a property by Gregg Madsen. His properties have not disappointed. The property is sparkling clean and ready for visitors with fresh clean linens waiting. We had a great stay so close to the beach. The walk was simple and the beach was welcoming. The air-conditioned home was a lovely change from the 90+ degree days on the beach. The outdoor shower is always a hit with the whole family. We had some family Corn hole battles and barbecued some dinners. Another great trip and we will definitely go back!

Narragansett didn’t disappoint!

It’s been a good few years since our last stay in Narragansett and once again it was a great week! The house location is perfect to get to beach, restaurants or whatever you are in the mood for! The bedrooms are all a good size and were just like pictures -and central AC was a bonus! We used the grill and had drinks on the deck many nights. Would definitely rent this house again!

Fantastic Beach Property

This property exceeded our expectations. The location is amazing. It is blocks away and an easy walk from Scarborough Beach. The home comes with supplies for the beach including beach cart, chairs, cooler and boogie board. The kitchen has ample equipment for all cooking needs. We would definitely rent this property again.

Great property close to the beach

This was a very good property for our extended family vacation with its open kitchen and living room area, deck, ample bedrooms and close proximity to the beach. We loved taking walks down to the beach after dinner. The only drawback was that the property doesn’t have much outdoor area for kids to play.

Beautiful house, great location

We had a fabulous time. The house is just a short walk to the beach and comes with all the beach supplies you need. The house was clean and spacious; more than enough space for our group of 10. Upon arrival there were fresh towels and linens and everything was spotless. Check in was a breeze. Gregg was quick to answer all my questions and was beyond accommodating! I highly recommend this place and will definitely be renting this house again!

Great house

We usually vacation in the Cape, however the home we rent was not available this year. We were a little nervous about trying a new place, but this property fit our needs. It is a beautiful neighborhood. Quick walk to the beach. The house was very well stocked. Lots of beach chairs and in great condition. I would recommend this property to anyone.
