The beautiful Kournas Lake lies among mountains and hills, just 2 km from the sea. Victoria Villa is built on the slope of a mountain and offers breathtaking view over the lake, the sea and the valley. Kournas is a fresh water lake and a habitat to ducks, eels, water snakes and many rare bird species. It is surrounded by lash vegetation and if you rent a pedalo boat you will be able to see the sea turtles hiding among the rare aquatic plants. Traditional taverns on the east side of the lake offer beautiful view of the lake. Georgioupolis is 6km away.

The garden of Victoria Villa is covered with grass. The big private pool with the children's area is situated in front of the villa. The pool area offers amazing view over the lake and the sea. There are sun loungers around the pool and a barbecue on the side of the villa. There are outdoor furniture in the terrace and the balconies, where you can seat and relax admiring the view and enjoying the tranquility of the area.

Victoria Villa consists of two floors. At the ground floor there are the sitting area, the kitchen, a bathroom and a cozy double bedroom with access to the garden and the pool. Two twin bedrooms and a bathroom are found on the first floor. Both bedrooms have private balconies with amazing view.

Herbsturlaub

Für den Sommerurlaub ist das Haus bestimmt sehr gut. Im Herbst war es kalt im Haus, die Fenster sind alle Richtung Norden und somit kommt keine Sonne rein. Auf dem Sofa sind die Abende sehr unbequem. Ein Tisch am Pool wäre schön. Sonst war alles sehr angenehm und der Verwalter sehr bemüht.

Unübertroffen schön

Der Empfang unseres Gastgebers Giannis war herzlich und wir wurden mit einem großen Lebensmittelpaket überrascht. Wein, Bier, Wasser, Cola, Nudeln, Tomatensoße, Würsten, Frischkäse, Margarine, Oliven, vielen süßen Sachen, einen Obstkorb und vielen mehr. Ds Haus war blitzblank und nach einer Vorankündigung kam auch zweimal eine Putzfrau. Die Schlafanzüge und Handtücher wurden liebevoll gefaltet und mit Blumen dekoriert. Der Pool wurde regelmäßig gereinigt und war sehr sauber. Die Betten waren wunderbar. Ganz besonderes erwähnenswert ist die grandiose Aussicht auf den KournasS ee und das Mehr. Besonders die ruhige Lage und die nahe Anbindung an Georgioupolis. In der Nähe gibt es zahlreiche gute Tavernen. Wir kommen wieder.

Hier passt das Gesamtpaket. Beste Kommunikation mit der Agentur, freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Besitzer, die Villa liegt traumhaft gelegen mit atemberaubendem Blick über Kournassee und das Meer. Die Ausstattung ist erstklassig, ebenso due Sauberkeit. Man fühlt sich sofort heimisch. Ein großes Dankeschön für die Lebensmittel Erstausstattung, so dass ein Großeinkauf nicht nötig war. Fijn huis met schitterend uitzicht

Wij verbleven met 6 in dit heerlijke huis met zwembad en dat bood voldoende ruimte (4 kinderen tussen 12 en 16). Het huis heeft werkelijk een prachtige uitzicht en is heel rustig gelegen - deels omringd door olijfbomen. Gastheer Yanis spreekt goed Engels en verwende ons met een welkomstpakket en bracht later nog heerlijke worstjes voor de BBQ. Het dichtstbijzijnde strand (10 min) is ook nog een lang ZANDstrand waar iedereen aan zijn trekken kan komen (zeer rustige delen en drukkere delen met vertier voor tieners). Goede locatie voor dagtochten naar Chania, Rethymnon, Preveli beach, Balos beach, grotten, monasteries, bergdorpjes, waterpark etc Een aanrader!

Fantastic place to be!!!

We were guests for 12 days in this wonderful holiday home. There are two terraces and two balconies with a breathtaking view of the lake and sea (it looks even better than it does in the pictures!!!). The house is beautifully quiet located, the view into the unspoilt mountains right behind the house is great. But it is only 10 min by car to the sea and beaches or 3 min to restaurants at the lake. Very good place for people who love to have nature AND sea. The house is beautifully furnished and very, very clean. When we arrived, there were already food and drinks for the first days. And it was cleaned twice while we stayed there. Also the pool is beautiful, clean and big enough for swimming. The garden is green, colorful flowers and herbs, big grill. We didn't want to go home anymore. Probably the most beautiful holiday house in which we have ever made holidays (and we had already made a lot of...). Many, many thanks for everything, we have more than enjoyed it !!!

Schönes Ferienobjekt

Alles war sehr schön, Vermieter war sehr freundlich, wir haben uns bei der Ankunft über das Willkommenspaket sehr gefreut. Die Lage des Hauses ist Traumhaft, ebenso die herrliche Ruhe. Ein Duschvorhang im Bad währe sehr schön. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können das Haus gerne empfehlen.

Great villa with amazing views, beautiful big pool and garden full off flowers

Stayed for a week at this lovely villa high in the mountains looking over Lake Kournas. Fantastic views and the best pool we've ever had. The villa is clean and has everything that you need and more. Great air con, big open spaces and the most generous welcome hamper I have ever seen. Really nice owner who welcomes you shows you round then leaves you to have a great holiday. Good location to explore Crete from. Really recommend.
