Loved this stay! Attentive host, great for a family. Grateful for parking and the breakfast goodies, plus coffee and tea amenities.
Highly recommend this property.
We had a really lovely stay on this property. The house itself is fantastically well stocked, Sean really makes sure you have everything you need when first arriving (and more). All the rooms are really well done and welcoming, there was nothing to fault. The location is also great as it gives great access everywhere else without being way too busy like so many other places in the Cotswolds. We had an amazing stay and I'd definitely recommend the house, plus Sean as a host
The village is absolutely gorgeous and the house is extremely clean and well stocked. There are many lovely touches, like logs for the fire, bread, butter, yogurt, cereals etc! I would definitely recommend this place for a long or short visit!
A wonderful stay in Painswick. The house was just as advertised, so clean and in a brilliant location. The house was stocked with everything you would need and even included some lovely extra touches on arrival such as fresh pastries and juices. We will definitely be returning when we visit the area again.
Me and some old friends decided to meet up down in the Cotswolds couldn't have asked for a better place, great communication from hosts, amazing location and very comfortable and clean place. Highly recommended.
A fabulous place, exceeded our expectations spacious and comfortable. Breakfast cereals and other goodies were an unexpected bonus we really appreciated. Loved our stay
We loved staying in Painswick and the cottage was perfect. It was a great location…a short walk into the village and easy access to all the public footpaths in the area. Our hosts were so kind. They made sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and convenience. Hope we can come back again some day!
This is a great spot for walking, as well as day trips throughout the Cotswolds. The village is very attractive with many choices for eating out and a quick walk from the house. A nice private patio for eating outside in the back.
Beautiful cottage in a very scenic peaceful town. The property has all the amenities to keep you comfortable during your stay. We loved the town of Painswick. It’s very friendly and scenic here. They have a tesco close by to cover your grocery needs. Sean was very generous in stocking up the fridge with breakfast items and pastries! We would love to revisit this property and town again
We had a lovely stay. The property is immaculate, modern and cosy. It’s walking distance to Painswick town centre and the Rococo Garden. Sean was there to welcome us and very helpful. They also provided breakfast for the stay, which was a bonus. Definitely recommend the place!
We had a lovely weekend staying in this lovely cosy house. The host communication and warm welcome was appreciated. The house was spotless with everything we needed for our stay.
The log burner was an absolute bonus providing us with plenty of warmth.
We will certainly be back again.
We came here for an extended stay during COVID-19, after returning to the UK unexpectedly. Sean and his family were incredibly welcoming and hospitable - we especially enjoyed his homemade pizza dough and baguettes! The house is lovely, with a nice garden, and we really enjoyed the local trails for walking and running. Walks to the Painswick Beacon were a favourite for the kids and there’s a decent public park nearby.
The property, and the owner, Sean, were truly outstanding. The house is clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Modern high-end appliances, even an electric car charger! The location is superb, great walking to be had in any direction. Sean stopped by a couple of times to check that everything was going well. Will definitely be booking here again
We enjoyed our stay here. Sean greeted us and helped us get settled in. The house is lovely and has all the amenities you need. Just a few minutes stroll into the picturesque town of Painswick with it's typical Cotswolds buildings (don't miss visiting St. Mary's Church and its 99 yew trees!). The house is also a very easy drive to other sights in the area, including the magnificent Gloucester Cathedral and the Roman museum in Cirencester. Very comfortable stay; it was also nice to have a washer/dryer combo to do some laundry. Thanks for a great stay, Sean!
Spent a wonderful week staying in this house. Painswick is a beautiful Cotswold village and the property is a few minutes walk from the centre, where you will find excellent pubs, coffee shops and restaurants. A short drive takes you to Stroud where you will find all the major supermarkets and stores together with an impressive farmers market on a Saturday. Arriving to the most comprehensive "welcome pack" we have ever encountered we have no hesitation in recommending this property. 10 out of 10

What makes this property unique
The unique benefits for staying with us? We're at the quieter edge of town, but at the top of the hill closer to the woodland walks and beautiful scenery. The town centre, pubs and restaurants are only a 5 minute walk from us, albeit a short walk down the hill.
You have a fully equipped house to yourself, a front and rear garden and off road parking with a tariffed 7kW EV charger and space for two medium sized vehicles - rarities for properties in the centre of Painswick town.
As hosts next door we are easily reachable, but not intrusive to our guests privacy. If there are any problems during your stay or if you simply want to know the best places to eat, walk, explore, just message us or pop round and say hello.
