The location of the home was great, there was ample parking and we loved having our own pool. We definitely felt we got value for our money. The outside of the home was updated. The interior photos accurately depicted the dated decor of the home so there were no surprises there. The home was not well maintained, but Elizabeth, the host, was very responsive when we brought issues to her attention.

The house is beautiful for a family stay, and my family liked it even more because it is close to the beautiful beach—you can walk there without any problem. It is lovely. 8/10.

Wonderful rental house

The property was wonderful! It was located within easy access to the beach. And putt putt and ice cream was a nice 1/2 mile walk. Elizabeth, the property owner, responded quickly to all my inquiries. I highly recommend this property!

Extended Family Getaway

Our trip was with our entire extended family and had a wonderful trip! The home was very clean and was everything as listed. The home is within walking distance to beach but I wish we would have rented a golf cart for my parents. Thanks again for a beautiful home to create many memories with our family!

Perfect for a family

Our family rented several homes on this street for a beach reunion. The quiet street was the perfect spot for the kids to come and go safely. The pool and patio area are nice additions to a comfortable home. The owner was very responsive when an issue popped up, too. Checking in and out was easy, and the whole process was smooth. This spot is just three minutes from the beach access point, so we could go back and forth from the house to the beach easily throughout the day. Would recommend to anyone!

Nice house but really dirty and unorganized

When we first arrived, no instructions on how to operate the door with the code. We walked in and looked around and it was dirty. I opened the freezer so we could put up food and I had to clean it out before I put the food in. The kitchen had everything we needed but we had to search for it because everything was everywhere. Nothing was organized. The place had all the appliances but they were all dirty and needed to be cleaned and not just rinsed off. The trash cans had not been emptied so we were not able to use for all of our trash. We did notice the garbage was picked up on Saturday we were not informed of this service to have the trash cans on the street. The pool was dirty and had sand and debris. The pool guy was leaving when we arrived so I was surprised to see the pool in that condition. The good was the water pressure was excellent and the hot water lasted for all of use to the shower.

I am really sorry that you feel this way about the house and your stay. To address the issues that you had first you were given a code for the house. I have never had an issue with anyone not knowing how to work the key pad. You punch in the numbers and turn the knob. The house was not dirty. My husband specially went down to check to see if the house was clean between renters. There may have been something left in the freezer that was the one place he did not look but other than the freezer the house according to my husband was clean. Also when you messaged me that the house was not clean I immediately called you to ask specifically what was "not clean" and that I was sending someone to come clean it for you. My husband had already turned around and was going back to the house to clean but you said no that no one needed to come clean. As far as the organization of the kitchen, renters tend to not put things in the correct place no matter how many times I organize and rearrange the cabinets. Also there were instructions on the refrigerator about the trash pickup. Explaingin which days trash was picked up and to please put the trash by the road the night before. The cleaners were able to fit all 5 of the trash bags you left in my kitchen in the trash cans even though you did not put the cans by the road Friday night for them to be emptied. The pool guy you were referring to that was there when you arrived was actually my husband the owner of the house. He was vacuuming out he pool himself on Thursday when you arrived so there was no way it was dirty. And the pool company comes on Saturday to clean. I have never had a complainant about the house not being clean. I allowed you to check in early and offered for you a later check out. Sorry again you were not happy with your stay but you did not have to trash my house. The cleaners said they have never seen it in such a mess

Beautiful getaway!

I stayed at this property with my family, super spacious, short walk to the beach, and the pool was a family hit. Elizabeth is very responsive in a timely manner, very helpful with the entire process as this was one of my first times utilizing Vrbo. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay, beautiful home!

We always enjoy our time here

This is our annual friends family trip to this home in Ocean Isle. We always love it here. The private pool on property is a benefit for us but you can walk up to the community pool. The beach access is just outside of the neighborhood and not a far walk. We always love hanging on the large front porch and the 2 swings are a popular thing among our family. The owner is very responsive and helpful. We will be back.

Nice house that needs a little care

Is over all the house is fantastic. Is great location, Great pool good space. Has some items that need to be fixed. The AC was not performing well when we were there. It was only 75ﾟ outside but was 78 in the house and it would not cool down until we opened the windows. Just some basic maintenance as there's broken furniture. A toilet seat coming off, Cracked shower rod in the master bathroom.

A beautiful 5 bedroom house

This house has 5 bedrooms with 5 private bathrooms for each room. I could communicated well with the property owner. Pool was a master piece. One uncomfortable thing was the outdoor trashcan was overflowing. Overall, it was a very nice vacation home.

Great Getaway

we came for a family reunion and this house was perfect! Plenty of seating in the kitchen. Plenty of bathrooms. The pool was super clean and a great hangout area for us. It is located surprisingly close to the beach. Loved the shower downstairs to rinse off so we didnt track sand through the house. Really a great place to stay!

Great location & features that make this home an A+

We love our stay at this home at Ocean Isle Beach. We took a group of 15 and the house worked perfectly for all of our needs. First, the pool is amazing! Great size and so refreshing after a day at the beach. There is a nice grill in this area and plenty of seating. There was plenty of sleeping area and enough bathrooms to share within the group. The kitchen was perfect for our large group and gave us plenty of space to cook and serve. The distance to the beach is an easy walk across the street. Overwall, our group had a great trip and the house was exactly what we were hoping for. Looking forward to booking this house again!
