Fantastic property - ideal for a large family wanting to enjoy the area for a few days. Very comfortable, lots of space and we loved how close we were to the centre of Amboise. Such a treat to be able to walk in and not get the car out!!!

It was super easy to communicate with Laure and she responded immediately. The location is great if you don’t mind walking 15 minutes to get to town. There is no heat from May to October. Showers are all on the lower level, there is a WC on the second level. All the beds upstairs are twins and very firm, double beds downstairs are fine. The living room is a great space to gather and the courtyard is very nice with pretty flowers.

Great place for family holiday

Lots of room for five of us. Everything we needed in the house. Good position for Clos Lucé and easy walk into town. Easy drive to many other castles, vineyards etcA bit difficult to keep cool, especially the upstairs rooms, when the weather was very hot

It was a lovely property. Loved the amount of bedrooms and beds. Loved how much space was available. Would recommend updating the bathroom info on the listing. Thought there might be only one toilet with several sinks & showers, but happily surprised to find 3 toilets. Highly recommend this property and the host was very friendly, helpful and communicative.

Excellent location and well designed lodging

We stayed with extended family to enjoy the Loire Valley. It was a terrific vacation because of the high volume of world class tourist sites within a 30 to 60 minute drive, as well as two chateaus within a 15 minute walk. The place was incredibly well located and the rooms and design were very convenient for a party of eight or nine. We had great communication with the owner and very pleased overall woth the experience and highly recommend.

Convenient, quaint rental walking distance to Downtown Amboise

Second visit to Amboise and I really enjoyed the convenience of being able to walk to dinner. We were very pleased with the comfort of the beds and Laure was a great communicator regarding check in and check out. We also needed some extras at the house and she was very helpful at providing them. Wifi was available and fast. House had modern updates and more room than we actually needed for five of us. We would highly recommend her place.

Cette grande maison est idéalement placée à côté du Clos Lucé. La rue commerçante est à proximité, elle permet de rejoindre la piste cyclable en toute sécurité. La grande cours fermée est vraiment un plus, que ce soit pour les enfants ou pour les voitures vélos que nous n'avions pas besoin d'attacher tous les soirs.

La maison est très bien située dans Amboise avec de nombreuses activités accessibles à pied. La propriétaire est très sympa et disponible. Le logement est propre bien équipé rénové avec goût. Un tout petit peu plus de vaisselle (assiettes et couverts) serait top.

Great location

The house was great. It was located a short walk to town, was very easy to find and had great accommodations for our family. It would be a 5/5 however the downstairs toilet had a bad smell that permeated to the hall and bedroom. We were told it was due to rain, but it was not pleasant. Otherwise the property and manager were excellent.

¡Estupendo! Un acierto

La casa es tal cual se anuncia. Amplia, limpia, muy bien cuidada, equipada... La estancia ha sido estupenda. Éramos 8 y teníamos espacio para todos. El jardín permite relajarte y disfrutar del buen tiempo. Laure ha dispuesto una vivienda con todo detalle para disfrutarla. En un lugar tranquilo, cercano al centro y muy bien comunicado. Laure nos explicó perfectamente cómo hacerlo al llegar y salir. Y resolvió todas nuestras dudas inmediatamente. 200% recomendable.

Loved this house!

We had a group of ten, and we loved the house, the space, the patio, the yard games, and the location was great! We had the unfortunate timing of very hot weather (over 100 degrees F), so sleeping conditions were quite warm. The communication with the owner was fantastic! We would definitely recommend this place!

Fantastic place!

This gite was perfect for our family of nine! Has been renovated & beds are very comfortable! We enjoyed eating outside & it was nice to have a place to park our cars. It was so convenient to walk to everything! The Friday market was a great place to buy local produce & eat some crepes! Loved touring Leonardo de Vinci’s house , Clos de Luce, & chateaus nearby! Highly recommend!

Great house and location

The house was very clean and we had lots of room for our family of 5. The location was great for visiting the area chateaus. We walked to the downtown area each evening for shopping, outdoor dining and gelato. Laure was very helpful and responsive.
