Very easy to contact host through email. Responded within 24 hrs. The chalet was immaculate and had everything you would need in kitchen. Lake view was beautiful. Our dog enjoyed the vacation. Our only disappointment is the king size bed was in the loft and the circular stairs were not good for people with mobility issues. So we slept in twin beds and enjoyed our stay immensely. Have already asked to come back next year!

Owners were great, very clean & comfortable. Just be aware that the upstairs with the king bed is a little hard to access with luggage and if you have a dog.

house was great, although the circular staircase is a tight fit. We had a wonderful time with family. There was a bit of a glitch with the dock. We docked our boat and another person yelled at us we used "his space" and that he owned the dock. There was no instruction regarding which dock space we were supposed to use. Host was great giving us instruction (although she misspelled our email and we didn't receive information until we contacted her, but she understood she made the mistake). We enjoyed our time and it is a cute house with nice access to water and boat. Would definitely stay again!

Hi Charles: I'm sorry for the issue over the dock. We are owners of 4, 15 and 16 Hopkins Way. We own the dock jointly with the owners of 8 Hopkins Way. Normally, his boat is tied to the dock and there are no problems. He had to have his boat repaired so it wasn't at the dock when you arrived. In the future the his slip will be identified for his use. There are three other 20' slips available on a first come, first serve basis. Thank you for renting from us this year. Please come again!! Chalet was perfect

Cute chalet had everything we needed. Open common area, deck overlooking the lake, small sandy beach and dock, easy walk into town. We had a great time swimming, kayaking and stand up paddle boarding in the lake. Lots of nice hikes nearby. Our dogs loved the lake and the property too!

Summer Vacation

The house is great and exactly as advertised. The location cannot be beat. It’s an easy walk to town, restaurants and shopping. Cathy is a great host and very responsive.
