Charming 2 Bedroom Cottage just a Short Walk from Scarborough Beach

Charming cottage in Eastward Look just a short walk from Scarborough Beach. One air conditioning unit is located in an open living and kitchen area. The two bedrooms each have a full bed. The inside front porch has a futon that folds open into a queen bed. A large deck with table and chairs is the perfect place to enjoy a summer night.

Additional amenity charges for summer guests: Professionally laundered bedsheets, bath towels, and light comforters are provided for all occupants. Beds are made only once, prior to arrival (multiple week guests will have linens dropped off starting their 2nd week). Multiple week guests are charged the linen fee per week at a discounted rate. Beach towels are not included. Guests that book 14 nights or greater will be charged an additional $25 cleaning fee. All reservations are subject to a reservation, cleaning and linen fee, and all applicable state and local tax.

Amazing week!

The house was charming! Everything we needed was there. Private backyard. Love the outdoor shower! Will definitely come back. This house deserves five stars and I almost don’t want to give such a good review and keep it my secret so I can rent next year!

Really enjoyed the stay with a few exceptions. Posting stated one roll pf toilet paper and one roll of paper towels woild be provided. The roll pf TP was less than 1/4 full and the paper toels were almost gone. Also pill was found in one of the bedrooms, a dirty used sponge was in kitchen. These call into question the completeness of the cleaning. Lastly during booking i stated there would be 3 adults. Only two sets of bedding were supplied. Again, these expections are few and not too big a deal. We realky did enjoy our stay and would recommend it to others.

Beach'n it!

This sweet cottage is clean, bright and very comfortable. Just a short walk to two sides of Scarborough North Beach made beach schlepping easy. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary pans and gadgets to slice, dice, peel, cut and serve. The outdoor shower is a definite perk! We're looking forward to our next visit.

Uncomfortable living room furniture, few (2?) coffee cups, leaking indoor shower with calls to realtor not returned to resolve issue, dirty rugs, moldy or sagging ceilings in porch and living area. The corner cabinet where pots and pans are stored was broken and didn’t notice until night before we left, tv shut off without warning.

Short Walk to the Beach + Outdoor Shower!

House has a great porch, an outdoor shower, and is a very short walk to the beach. There's not much else around within walking distance in terms of restaurants, etc., but Point Judith and the Narragansett Beach area are a short drive/Uber ride away. And the kitchen is well equipped with anything that you'd need if you chose to stay home. The nearest beach doesn't have amenities but is much less crowded than the adjacent Scarborough Beach - and the house is close enough to make quick trips back and forth as needed.

I cannot say enough about my stay at this cottage, my friends bailed on me so I was left with a whole package, let me tell you it was theost comfy and peaceful clean to be honest I would stay there again, there's lots of room. I had to call about the shower the man came 20 min. Later very nice on the phone. I recommend this cottage the beach is very short walk I loved it didn't wanna come home. thank you for giving me such a beautiful vacation.

Dirty and cluttered

We were so disgusted with the conditions that we cut our vacation short and left two days early. There were 14 rugs in the 500 sq. foot space, none of which were clean. Overhead lights filled with dead bugs. Shockingly, we even found sand in one of the beds upon arrival. The property was covered in mold and dust. As mother of a child with a severe dust allergy I had to clean before I could even allow my daughter to sleep in the front room. My 8 year old son found rusty screws left in the driveway, which is not ideal for a barefoot beach house. The air conditioners were filled with black mold and they were not secured in the windows, making it easy for anyone to open the windows from the outside and gain entry. The exhaust fan above the stove was didn't work, which was probably contributing to the humidity and mold. The front door did not open, limiting us to a single exit from the property. When contacting the realtor we were told because we didn't alert them of the conditions there was nothing they could do for us. The one vacation my family saves for all year, completely ruined.

Beach heaven

Had a wonderful week. Cottage was really cute and well equipped with everything we needed for both cooking and grilling. Love that the outdoor shower had hot water. Short walk to the beach and days of swimming, sunning, snacking and reading. Hated to come home!!

Best location

Location was amazing! Comfortable well equipped cottage. The outdoor shower was a huge plus. Very responsive owners, rectified the grill issue immediately. Only downside, the cottage needs better air conditioning unit in main room. Hardly cooled the area. Not awful though. Definitely recommend.

A delightful 2 week stay

The house was precious, a block from the beach, and simply appointed. I stayed there largely alone with friends and my partner coming and going. I only turned the AC on once because of the contant ocean breeze. The house does smell a little damp but that is because it is so close to the sea and the air is moist; I just brought a fragrance diffuser and it was fine. I loved my stay and would like to come back.

Rhode Island Family Vacation

Property was great. Small, cute house, had everything we needed. Nice big deck, nice outdoor shower, close to beach. They asked us to bring cleaning supplies which was not necessary bc there were plenty there.

A cute cottage that needs a good clean and some care.

Great location and perfect size for 3. Cooker good is broken , grill was broken and caught alight , dishwasher swirled dirt around. The cottage needs a good clean and smells musty. All the crockery is chipped . Management tried their best but sadly nothing was really resolved.
