If you love vintage, rustic, yet minimalistic and modern, then come experience 1890's architecture as you climb into your next adventure here at the Lofts Over Main. Formerly downtown shop-keepers homes above where some of the earliest 19th century business owners would have taken root, now the whimsical, upscale lofts are located just minutes from your next adventure. The Lofts Over Main were completely renovated in 2017 by the owners for guests to enjoy Main Street living such as walkability to restaurants, taprooms, boutique shops, antique stores, coffee shops and museums.
Formerly downtown shop-keepers homes above where some of the earliest 19th century business owners would have taken root, now the whimsical, upscale lofts are located just minutes from your next adventure.

Hiking boots on, fishing poles loaded and a short canoe trip down the river lands you in one of our two 850 square foot LOFTS OVER MAIN for a restful evening to embrace tranquility. Our lofts create the nostalgia you'd expect in a shop-keepers quarters ranging from exposed brick walls, vintage furniture and romantic chandeliers. The custom cabinetry frames a modern kitchen, containing elegant stainless steel appliances and vintage tables. The 15-foot tall ceilings are accented with rustic stained wood boards and give the perfect accent to the original wooden floors from the late 1800's building. The adjustable lighting in the Lofts cast off a romantic glow to be tailored for your perfect evening. Keeping the original wood flooring, you can almost hear the shop keepers' as they are coming home from their day of work from Main Street below.

Each Loft has its own sophisticated style, including our custom designed showers. You will experience 5-star comfort on our luxurious mattresses, lavished with down bedding and sheets suitable for a king and his queen on your journey to a deep night's sleep. Rise and shine with a hot cup of Joe and it's off to venture down Main Street or head to one of the nearby waterfalls or the historic Stump House Tunnel!

THE WALHALLA STUDIO:Entering into the Walhalla STUDIO of the Lofts Over Main, stroll down memory lane of scenes of historic Walhalla from the early 1900's. Decor lends itself to adventurers' oasis, also complete with authentic, local memorabilia.

The Space:LOFTS OVER MAIN are 2 private studio condos that are connected via a shared storage room that isn't accessible to guests. Guests must access via single entry stairs to 2nd floor above Main Street.

WALHALLA STUDIO AMENITIES:

~The LOFTS OVER MAIN are the only place to stay on Main Street Walhalla, are within walking distance to several restaurants and night life. They are just miles from any outdoor adventureman's favorite hideaways including Stumphouse Tunnel, the Chattooga River, Lake Keowee and Lake Jocassee. ~ Enjoy a furnished kitchen (stove, refrigerator, coffee maker), King size bed, and a couch. ~ Units have heating and air conditioning. ~ Guests have 100% privacy from each unit to come and go as you please. Bring a cooler with food and drinks or enjoy our list of local fine dining favorites. ~Need more beds? Feel free to bring an air mattress if you need to sleep more than 2. ~ Our condos are the perfect place for any one needing to rest between hikes or simply stay close by in Oconee County!
