I enjoyed staying at this property! Very quiet neighborhood. The home was clean! Beds were very comfortable! I’m going to miss drinking my morning coffee by the lake. We traveled from Florida for the fall foliage and to drive the Georgia Traverse trail which starts not too far from the home. We also visited Stumphouse Tunnel and the falls which is a short drive away. I would stay again!

It was pet friendly but it wasn’t what I expected. Have stayed at other places in mountain Rest and was highly impressed, but this is more like an old fishing place. No closets for your clothes. Windows were nasty, couldn’t open. Fireplace didn’t work. Some remotes didn’t have batteries. Had to climb on bed to turn ceiling fan on. Never did get volume up on tv. Will not stay there again. Rachel very nice though. Enjoyed sitting on dock.

I am from the small town of Starr, SC! I grew up on a 40 acre farm and had a wonderful childhood. I met my (now) husband while I was in college, we moved to Walhalla and have been here 8 years. We absolutely adore living here. We have 3 children who I’ve been blessed to be home with but now that they’re getting older, I have really enjoyed getting into real estate, hosting/managing rental properties, and hospitality as a whole. Traveling is a huge passion of mine so being able to help other people travel somewhere that I truly love is so much fun and very fulfilling.

Why they chose this property

Walhalla has the most beautiful mountains, hiking trails, wonderful family-owned restaurants, and so much more, Lake Becky is just a quick 10 mile drive down the mountain to Walhalla so it’s truly the best of both worlds. Lake Becky/Mountain Rest area is also wonderfully centrally located to Cashiers and Highlands NC as well. What more could you ask for?!

What makes this property unique

Our lake Becky cabin is such a fun little property. The large dock with steps leading out into the water, the fire pit, deck, AND screened in porch are so inviting and relaxing. You could sit outside all day and just enjoy the views. But inside, you’ve got a comfortable and cozy space to relax in too. Just like the location of our property, the property itself is also the best of both worlds.
