At the source of the name Carmichael, Carmichael Estate is Scotland's oldest family farming business. We have 10 quality assured self-catering cottages dotted around the peaceful Estate amongst the woodlands and hills. Situated between Lanark and Biggar, yet only 50 minutes for Edinburgh and Glasgow we provide an ideal touring base for visiting Central Southern Scotland. Once one of the service cottages for the now ruined Carmichael mansion house, Butlers cottage sleeps 4 and is located in the centre of the Estate. It is a charming small cottage ideal for a family with 2 children. Pets welcome.
