So pleased that Marie enjoyed her stay.
The John Buchan Way is easily accessed close to us, there is a Merlin trail close by too and a new trail taking you by the Devil’s Cauldron is being developed. There is also a beautiful walk by Neidpath Castle and into Peebles with car parks close by.
We do try to have leaflets for these plus all the castles and country houses close to us as well as good access to Edinburgh and Glasgow and Stirling.
This was a beautiful spacious holiday home, tucked away in the country but also a good location as a base. The rooms were large, comfortable and amenities were great. The host was kind and hospitable and the welcome goodies were lovely- just what we needed. I would highly recommend staying and we hope to be back . Thank you Denise, you have a lovely home and you were very helpful.

Had a lovely 3 day stay. This is an old property so even in the hot weather is cool. There was plenty of wood for stove and heating worked well. The welcome basket was fantastic and much appreciated.

So pleased Chris and his family enjoyed their stay. We are close to many attractions , biking trails, go ape and walking from the door as well as castles and country houses. Peebles is a lovely town with coffee shops, hotels and cafes.
Denise is an excellent host. The apartment had everything we needed and as an added bonus there were enough supplies to keep us going for a bit. Would go back again.
We are in a quiet place in the Borders , the apartment overlooks the wild flower meadow where we have red squirrels, hares, deer and many rare birds . The herons come to nest each year along with many other birds.
Beautiful location, excellent communication with the property manager and everything provided as described. We will certainly come again when we visit friends in Peebles.

We were delighted to have Bonnie and her family staying with us recently and would love to see them again.
We had a warm welcome in a comfortable accomodation with a lot of space, including table tennis in the hallway.
The area is rather remote, but interesting to discover.

Thank you for your review. The area is a National Scenic Area that is protected because of the wild life and the proximity to the River Tweed. We have red squirrels, deer, hares and many rare birds and moths.
We are just 2 miles from the Moffat to Edinburgh A701 which is a renowned route that has scenic views and only 29 miles from Edinburgh.

Great stay in the Tweed Valley
The apartment was huge and extremely well equipped for our three night stay. We loved that Denise provided some basic foodstuffs which served us very nicely. We are on an extended vacation so the clothes washer and drying facilities were great. We also loved the Peebles area.

Many thanks for taking the time to write a review. We are in fact very close to many interesting activities and castles and 3 miles from Dawyck Botanic Garden. Edinburgh is 3/4 hour and our prices are a fraction of the capital. Peebles is a very attractive town and Glentress is a welknown for its biking trails , particularly favoured by young people.

The grounds were beautiful, and we've never heard birds sing so loudly but it was lovely. The home was very clean and fully equipped with everything we needed and more. Denise was very accommodating and helpful. It was a very lovely stay for our first visit to the UK We would highly recommend.
